Chapter 5: Nothing Like It

Leo's pov

I ran after y/n despite some protests. I ran into Cabin 3 and saw y/n laying on her bed crying. "Hey it's okay." I said, not knowing what to do. 

As soon as she heard my voice y/n stopped crying and turned around. "Leo" She gasped an started crying again. She ran and hugged me, her h/c hair falling around her. Aphrodite's blessing from when she was claimed still hadn't worn off, but Piper didn't think it was going to.

I rubbed small circles around y/n's back sootingly. "I-Im sorry that was really childish of me" Y/n pulled away.

"No it's okay. You're probably feeling a lot of-" I faked gagged, "Emotions right now". Y/n laughed and I smiled.

"Do you wanna talk?" I asked. She shook her head, taking me by surprise.

"I'm gonna go talk to Percy. I owe him an apology..." 

10 minutes later I walked outside to find y/n. "Y/N! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER-"

Your pov

I went to apologize to Percy when I ran into someone. And that someone just happened to be Will Solace. "Watch where your going Jackson" He growled. For a son a Apollo, he wasn't very happy. Whenever he was around me he was more like a son of Ares or Nemesis. 

"Me?! You bumped into me Solace" I spat his name.

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever."

"You wanna go?!" I asked, the Ares in me coming out. I could tell that I was glowing red. 

"Jackson, even though I would love to fight you right now, I'm supposed to help people not hurt them."

"Trust me you won't" I growled. 

Still not having a weapon, even though I had been here for a month I stood my ground. 

"Look at me" I willed power into my voice and Will looked at me, his eyes glazed over. A wave of anger washed over me and I heard growling come from the woods. I heard a scream and realized it was coming from me. Words resonated throughout my mind. 

Not yet little demigod. To unlock your powers you must face misery. 

Now?  said another voice.

Yes my little one.

I crumpled to the ground and the last thing I heard was a boy calling my name, then darkness consumed me.

Leo's pov

"Y/N! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER WILL?!" I ran over to the crippled girl and stared daggers at Will.

"I-I didn't do anything I swear. We were arguring, she challenged me to a fight, but then she sreamed. She started glowing, levitating, and fell to the ground."

I blinked twice. I had faced some wierd stuff throughtout the years. A snow goddess who was hot, but wanted to turn my best friend into an ice sculpture. A woman coming out of the ground. An immortal daughter of Atlas falling in love with me (I mean who wouldn't). Blowing myself up. But a glowing, levitating daughter of Poseidon blessed by multiple Olympian gods? Never.

I looked down and y/n was gone. 

"Guys what happened?" Y/n asked looking scared.

This girl will be the death of me. I thought while engulfing my best friend in a bear hug.

"What?" Y/n said, looking startled.

I tilted my head.

"What do you mean I'll be the death of you?" Y/n said, confused.

Mine and Will's head snapped towards her. 

What the heck?

I looked at her and absorbed her features. She's nice, funny, and is even prettier than Calypso! Wait whaaaaat? 

A noticeable blush crept on her face, but was replaced with confusion. "Leo you didn't move your mouth.

"What do you mean I didn't move my mouth?"

"You just talked, but didn't move your mouth"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"YES"

"NO!"

"YES"

"NO! I WAS JUST THINKING"

Dang she won't back down from this will she?

"NO I WONT"

I looked at her, the answer dawning upon me.

"Y/n, you just read my mind...."
