Chapter 19: Water Isn't Always Welcoming

Your pov

It had been a couple days since I woke up. Apparently trying to read Rachel's mind was not safe because she was The Oracle of Delphi. 

"So are you guys ready to go?" I said in the evening.

"Yup!" 

We all boarded the Argo III and went to our cabins. I laughed as Frank bumped into Will.

"Sooo.... You wanna go on a date?" Leo slid his arm around my shoulder slyly.

"On the boat? With Percy and Coach?" I laughed again.

"He won't find us. Come on!" Leo pulled me into a secluded area where he had candles and a mechanical rose.

I blushed in the lighting.

"C'mon!" He pulled me toward the table.

We sat down and a wind spirit came from no where. bringing us food.

"Y-You did all this for me?" I stuttered.

He nodded and I blushed even more.

"Thanks" I smiled causing the tip of his nose to light on fire.

"Of course mi reina."

I groaned playfully, "Are you ever gonna tell me what that means?"

"Nope!" He popped the p.

"Soooo what do you wanna talk about?" I said moving around the food. I could tell Leo made it because it was crispy....very crispy.

"Well tell me about you"

"You first." I told my boyfriend, not wanting to relive the past few years of my life.

He cleared his throat uncomfortably, "Well when I was young Hera tried to throw me into a fire, my mom died in a fire, I bounced around for a while until I went to Wilderness Camp, which is where I met Piper and Jason. We came to camp and then got claimed. Then we went on a quest where we almost died because of a goddess named Khione. Then we freed Hera and went back to camp just to go on another  quest which I was blown off The Argo II and blasted onto-" He faltered.

"Onto Calypso's island and then I left and we defeated Gaea because I sacrificed myself. How awesome am I?" He said, but simply reading his mind told me that he still missed Calypso. Yes I was jealous, but I also sympathized for him. I understood that he missed her, but he loved me now...right? He was hiding something back, something that he didn't want to think about, but it was nothing to worry about...right?

"You're turn!" He exclaimed.

I took a deep breathe, "Are you sure?"

"Look if you don't want to you don't have to I understand" Leo smiled at me. To be honest if he had pushed I probably wouldn't have told him, but the way he was looking at me like- like I was his everything.

"I'll tell you."

He nodded, patiently.

"So you know the story about how my memories were removed when I was 8, but after that I was put in the foster system. The people said that my parents had died in a car crash and I believed them, I was only 8 after all. Finally I went to family who loved me and I loved them. They adopted me and everything was fine...until one day when I was about 10 my adopted sister and I had gone in the pool. We were about the same age. Her friends had came over, but they refused to include me. I got really mad and- and-" I tried not to sob.

Leo stayed quiet.

"And the next thing I knew my sister, Y/S/N (Your sisters name (If you have one if not then pick a name any name)), was- was drowning. She was underwater and couldn't come up. Her friends tried helping her and I just stood there. A-After that her friends started calling me a freak and a murder, and so did my adopted parents. They didn't let me come to her funeral, or let me in her room, which we shared so I was forced to sleep on the couch. Soon after that my adopted mom left and my dad started drinking. He would blame me and it eventually got worse: He started to hit me. Everyday at school I would get bullied by my sister's friends. You met one of them, Britney? Bu-But then I met you and I fell in love, forgetting about my past. Leo I love you"

I smiled softly at my boyfriend and he wiped a stray tear away from my cheek. "I love you too mi reina" He leaned in closer and kissed me softly.

"D-Did you just kiss my sister?! I'M GONNA KILL YOU VALDEZ!"

We both snapped around, Finding Percy glaring at my boyfriend.

"5....4...."

"What's he doing?" Leo asked, fearfully.

"I-I think he's giving you a head start"

"2...."

"Oh gods" Leo's eyes widened and he ran.

"1" And Percy ran after him.

I processed everything and ran after them. The other 9 watched the scene unfold as we got to the bow of the ship. As I caught up with my boyfriend and brother Leo already had a bloody nose and the tip of Percy's shirt was charred. I guess Leo had escaped because they were still running.

"Why is Percy chasing Leo?" Nico asked.

My face went red, "No reason" 

Annabeth, Piper, and Jason burst out in laughter. "H-He found out didn't he" Piper said, crying from laughing so hard.

"Yea" I mumbled.

"Good luck with that" Jason laughed, patting my shoulder.

Then I heard a splash. Percy had chased Leo overboard. My eyes widened and the others just continued laughing. 

"Umm what's happening?" Frank asked.

"I have no idea" Hazel responded.

Leo's pov

I came out of the water shivering.

"Ughhh I hate the cold." 

"Can't you just warm yourself up?" Will asked.

"Oh yeah that's true" I warmed up, but started feeling tired.

Percy was still glaring daggers at me, but I was too busy trying to plug my bleeding nose to care. 

"Valdez I swear if you hurt her I will personally drag you to the Underworld." Percy said, clenching his fists. 

"I won't." I said. A cloud passed over us, and I got cold again. 

Percy tried to breathe deeply, "As long as you're good to her I'll be good to you. If not-" He looked around.

"Let's finished this later." He said.

"Wait what?" Y/n said. 

"That's what." I pointed above us and it started to snow.

Word count: 1063 (Not including A/N)

A/N: So what'd you guys think? Leo found out about Y/n's past and Percy finally found out about Y/n and Leo! Yes I made him over-protective because, well I wanted to. Sorry for the slow updates, blame school. No Q&A today.
