"PERCY!" I ran to my brother.
"Y/n? Was it a dream or did you actually come see me already?" Percy said, stronger then I expected.
I laughed grimly, "I think it was real, but don't ask me how" I showed him my arm, which was still bandaged. I glared at Nico and Leo for not taking the disgusting bandage off.
I realized that Percy wasn't being guarded.
"Well well well" Khione walked in. I spoke too soon.
"Nico get Leo and Percy out of here!" I yelled at him facing Khione, weaponless.
"No!" Leo and Percy yelled.
"Percy, Annabeth is worried sick, everyone is and you're not strong enough to fight yet." I said sternly. He reluctantly agreed.
"Leo-"
"No, I'm not leaving you. I love you and you're not fighting Elsa by yourself." We glared at each other and I gave in.
"Y/n you know that-" Nico started.
I nodded, "You're too weak to be able to come back. Don't worry I can shadow-travel Leo and I back to camp."
He nodded and although I felt bad knowing he was going to pass out when they got to camp, I knew he could do it.
"Stay safe" he hugged me, taking me by surprise. I nodded and Percy and Nico left.
"Are you done?" Khione asked sarcastically.
I nodded.

"Holy Hera that hurt" I said through gritted teeth. Khione just blasted me with an icicle and reopened my wound on my arm.
The ice queen chuckled and suddenly I was blinded by snow, "LEO!"
"Y/N TWIST YOUR RING!"
I groped around and finally found my boyfriend.
I twisted my ring and-
"The Sword of Peleus" I breathed.
Leo chuckled.
I spun it and continued the fight. It felt right in my hands and I used it with ease.
"Leo thank you! I lo-" I stopped short as Khione fell to the floor after I struck her chest with the butt of the sword.
She looked at me and smirked.
"You really thought you did enough to stop me? You may have slowed me down, but you didn't stop me" Khione sneered and threw something as she disappeared.
The icicle hit Leo.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" A shrill scream erupted from my throat.
Leo looked at me, wide-eyed. A stream of deep red blood trickled from Leo's mouth. He blinked once and fell to the floor in a heap. I ran to him, sobbing. I cradled his head, "No Leo. You can't leave. I swore that I wouldn't let you die. Nononono. C'mon Leo this is the worse Christmas present ever. You can't leave me alone! You promised you wouldn't! " I shrieked.
But he didn't respond. Streams of tears rolled down my face. "NO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! I-I-" I collapsed on the ground. "I love you" I whispered.
I felt for his heart, even a faint beat. Nothing. The world stopped. I hugged my knees. This had to be a nightmare, but I knew it wasn't.
I closed Leo's eyes hoping he would pop up saying, "It's just a prank!" laughing.
But he didn't.
The pain was too much.
It couldn't be.
But it was.
He was gone.
He was dead.
Leo Valdez was dead.
Nothing was simple anymore.
