CHAPTER 22

Percy's pov (You weren't expecting that were you?)

Cold. That was the only thing I could think of. How cold it was. It felt like the cold was burning my skin. It was so cold. I tried to think of ways to escape but all my brain let me think about the frigid cold. I could barely sleep because of the cold.

Khione walked in.

"I gave you your chance. Now your sister is going to pay." She said.

I had a sister? The only thing on my mind was the cold.

"Answer me you useless demigod!"

I tried to say something something, but I couldn't. I felt like I was frozen.

"Cold?" She laughed and grabbed my arm. All of a sudden a blast of pain shot through me. It was enough to clear my thoughts for a second, but as soon as she let go I collapsed on the floor.

Y/n's pov

Cold. That was the only thing I could think of. It was freezing. I knew I was dreaming when I saw a boy crouching in a place with snow. I shivered. Percy. I tried yelling to him, but it felt like I was frozen in place. My mouth just couldn't form the words. I tried again. This time I said his name, but it was barely audible.

I looked as he fell to the floor as Khione let go of him. All of a sudden I didn't feel the cold. All I felt was my anger.

"PERCY!" I yelled, hoping by some miracle he would hear me. Khione's head shot up in my direction.

"I-It's not possible." She muttered. Did she know I was here? Whatever. Right now my priority was Percy. I ignored her and ran to him, although I knew I wasn't really there.

I tripped over something and realized, how did I trip over it if I wasn't here? Khione was still standing still, shocked.

I put my arm on Percy and immediately he started stirring.

"Y/n? H-how are you here?" He shivered. His lips were blue and he was pale, but he looked better then when I first arrived.

"I don't know Perce. I had a dream and suddenly I was here." I said, watching the color slowly come back to him.

"Percy we gotta get you out of-"

Khione blasted me back, recovering from her shock. "I don't know how you're here, but you're not going anywhere." She said coldly (No pun intended).

I got up, "Khione you need to work on your hospitality skills." I chuckled.

She just narrowed her eyes. She threw an ice dagger at me missing my head by an inch. I stood shocked, but quickly snapped out of it. I sighed, "C'mon Elsa, I gotta get back to the Argo. I have to lecture Percy on how not to scare my boyfriend." I shot a glare at Percy who looked completely fine now. He smirked.

"Let's go kelp head, Annabeth is waiting for you."

Percy smiled and pulled riptide out of his pocket. "After you Sea Queen" He bowed. I laughed and Khione looked at us like we were crazy. Although we probably were. I smiled and shadow traveled to behid Khione, but she anticipated this. She blasted wind at me, but I was anticipating this. What I wasn't anticipating was Khione also blasting Percy.

He slammed against the wall and I felt an ache in the back of my head.

"Percy are you good?"

He got up, rubbing his head, "Yeah yeah I'm fine lets just get this over with. Bring it on Elsa." He smiled.

"Stop calling me Elsa! Im so much colder than her" I thought the goddess meant it as a joke, but apparently not.

She threw two more ice daggers at me and I dodged the first one, but with the second I wasn't so lucky. It sliced open my lower sleeve, making a deep cut along my fore-arm. I grabbed my arm in pain and that's when I realized I was flickering.

I looked at Percy, but he was too busy dodging Khione. He tried stabbing at her, but she grabbed his wrist and put an ice dagger against his throat. He looked at me with determination in his eyes.

"Well Jackson it looks like you're going to be on your way now" Khione smirked.

Perce looked at me more closely and saw I was flickering, "What did you do to her?!" He yelled struggling against Elsa.

"Don't move" She said through gritted teeth, moving the dagger closer to him. He stood still and looked at me, worried.

"Percy grab my arm" I said under my breath, hoping Khione wouldn't realize. She didn't. If I could reach him I could shadow travel us back to the Argo and everything would be fine. I took a few steps towards the two.

"PERCY NOW!" As I grabbed his arm, everything went dark.
