Maya's manager pushed the door of the meeting room, seeing SM's team sitting around  the table, bowing their heads politely as they entered.

His eyes suddenly sparked as he saw her in her full brown attire, her black hair cascading on her back.

She gave everyone a kind smile that didn't show her teeth, settling down.

"Thank you for taking your time to visit us May-ssi, we know that you're very appreciative." The male's manager spoke up.

Maya bowed her head in response, crossing her legs under the table and sitting back in her chair.

"So, what is this all about ?" Maya asked with big curious eyes, a faint smile on her face.

The boy's manager hit him lightly with his elbow, pulling him out of his transe as he got lost in Maya.

"I'd be truly honored if May-Sunbae accepted to do this with me and eventually a stage at the end of the year during an award show." Jaehyun spoke up, fixing his posture.

Maya nodded, turning to her team. Even if she wanted, she wasn't the one who's take the decision at the end.

"I personally see no problem with that." Maya expressed her opinion, putting her hair behind her ear.

"May-ssi already has a packed schedule, we'll have to organize all of this very carefully." The manager spoke.

Jaehyun's manager nodded as the two idols just silently judged each other.

Maya's brown attire was making her look casual and formal at the same time, but also very girlfriend-like.

She already had a girlfriend material image, but her outfit and makeup enhanced this.

Whereas Jaehyun wore black skinny jeans with a white sweater and black ankle boots, his fluffy hair falling on each side of his face due to his middle part.

At some point their eyes met, causing Jaehyun to give the girl a small smile that she politely returned before focusing back on what the managers were saying, but unfortunately as she was so into analyzing her partner, she missed half of the conversation, almost all of it.

"Thank you then, we'll contact you very soon." Her manager spoke, standing up.

Maya followed the move, standing up and bowing as well as the managers from SM mimicked their actions.

She followed her manager towards the door, ready to leave this place when someone called her.

"Sunbae !"

She turned around and saw Jaehyun, his small smile revealing his dimples.

Maya turned to her manager who took a deep breath, clicking her tongue.

"Five minutes, make sure you don't start any dating scandal." She simply said before walking away.

Maya nodded with a small smile as Jaehyun opened a door near, leading to an empty studio.

Maya followed him inside and was reassured by his intention as she noticed he didn't lock the door, simply closing it for reasons of privacy.

It reminded her of when she used to come here for Chanyeol and have their little dates in an empty studio like this one, but this was a long time ago now, it's been more than a year since something of the sort happened.

"You wanted to see me ?" Maya asked, slightly tilting her head.

"I.. I wanted to ask you a favor, Sunbae." Jaehyun said, gulping.

Maya sat down on one of the chairs, soon mimicked by Jaehyun.
Since she was the oldest, he was waiting for her to sit, by pure politeness but also because he was a gentleman.

"I'm listening." Maya answered, crossing her legs.

Jaehyun sighed before looking back at her, mesmerized by her beauty and powerful aura even though she was just sitting there peacefully.

"Can you.. Can you keep this from Kook for a while ?" He asked, immediately continuing after seeing Maya's face change. "I understand that he's your bandmate and that you've known him for longer than me, that you also care more about him than me but.. He kinda fixed this rule in the friend group."

Maya furrowed her eyebrows, crossing her arms against her chest.

"Rule ?" She repeated, intrigued.

"Bam broke it, but you're supposedly untouchable because you're his, quote, 'property'.. He said it after the MAMA of 2016 if I remember well." Jaehyun explained.

Maya scoffed, nodding as she slowly understood.

Jungkook was seeing her as an object, it was around the same time he made the pact with the others. She wasn't a person but something to have before anyone else.

Even if he claimed to love her now, it was still possible that he just wanted to have her and not be a boyfriend to her, which led her to more questions, overthinking.

Jaehyun saw it in her eyes and let out a internal sigh, asking himself why on Earth he had snitched on Jungkook.

"What's the most recent thing he said about me ?" Maya asked, hoping it wouldn't ruin her mood more.

Jaehyun sighed, throwing his head back as he thought. He didn't want to sell out his friend, but she deserved to know.

"Few days ago he was bragging about how you were his now, that he has you and some other shit-.. I'm sorry, things like that.. I don't wanna be noisy but you're not together, right ?"

Maya's face froze in shock.

Jungkook was bragging about 'having' her, which grandly surprised her. He was cocky, it was completely possible, but either ways, if he really acts like she's something to have it's a red flag.

A big red flag.

He's already possessive, just like the other maknaes, but if he called her his 'property' behind her back and bragged about having her, it was rightfully worrying.

"I'm.. Listen Jaehyun-ssi it's complicated but.. Do you have any proof ? I just met you and I've know Kook for years so.."

He nodded, pulling out his phone.

"Sure, you're right on this.. here."

He gave her his phone, the KakaoTalk app opened on the 97' group chat.
