End of Part Two : A brand new year.

It was finally the thirty-first of December, meaning this heavy year was over.

This year was heavy for everyone, but almost unbearable for Maya.

Frankly, she thought she wouldn't have made it to the end of the year, but she was still there, grown and wiser from everything she went through.

The company officially put her back in the dorm as the whole scandal storm passed, but she was thinking about moving out as it seemed like all of the members were, or at least planning too.

Seokjin moved out in March, Yoongi in August, Jungkook at the beginning of the month and Taehyung just last week.

Hoseok already bought an apartment since 2016, it wasn't anything new.

She felt like Jimin and Namjoon were also looking forward to move out, and she didn't want to be alone in the big dorm, so she started looking.

It was a hard task, she had high standards for the place she'll be living in for -hopefully- years, so it took some time.

She didn't feel like going out to celebrate. Exhausted from the performance at MBC Gayo Daejejon and overall, wanting to have some time to herself after that long year, thinking about her next move.

She sat on the balcony, drinking green tea for her sore throat.

Performances after performances, and then Tour, comeback, repeat.

It was tiring, but in a sense, that's what pulled her together.

The only moments when she felt alive this year were when she was on the stage, doing what she likes.

The door to the outside opened, revealed Jimin wrapped in a warm fluffy blanket to stay warm while he was outside.

They haven't talked since she called them out, and frankly, she didn't even know he stayed at the dorm this year as usually he'd be the first one to leave to go party.

"Hey.." He said, standing next to her.

"Hi.."

They stayed silent a second, looking at the starts shining so bright in the sky, cold winter air hitting their faces.

"It's finally over.. This hell of a year.." Maya sighed in relief, almost feeling emotional at the mere thought of it.

Jimin turned to her, looking at her side profile.

"Can I ask you a favor ?" He asked, looking at her big shining eyes.

"Does it cross the limit ?" She asked, in response, finally turning to him.

He gave her a small smile without showing his teeth, shaking his head.

"Nope.. I want you to promise me nothing will make us apart this year, as a group, as friends.. Promise me you'll always be honest." Jimin said, putting her hair behind her ear.

Maya sighed, looking up at him.

She wanted to see him happy, she wanted to be happy too and have a break in her torment.

She wanted to be satisfied with herself and stop feeling like a piece of shit for every single thing she's doing.

Jimin dropped the song 'Promise' earlier that day, and she knew it was about her. Proof is, he was asking her to promise something again.

She didn't understand why they did that, it confused her.

Jimin wrote a whole song for her, Jungkook performs a song about romance for her, Taehyung always calls out for her, verbally or with some kind of telepathy.
