"Maya-yah I'm starting to worry.."

The girl turned her head to Hoseok.

They were in the van on the way to film Jungkook's solo 'Euphoria'.

It was early in the morning and the night before, Maya finished late on set. She didn't get much rest and that worried the members.

"I'm fine, just tired.." Maya reassured him, sipping on some coffee.

"That's precisely the problem, you're never tired." Seokjin add. "I get that you want to pull it off, but take things slow Mayaring, you don't have to do all of this."

Maya sighed, nodding.

"Tonight we should wrap it up anyways." Maya answered. ".. I'm talking about the song, by the way, right now we're about to shoot the episode four of the drama, twelve more to go.." She sighed again.

"I hope you're not traumatizing this boy Jaehyun with your flirtiness." Seokjin said with a small laugh, looking outside the window.

Maya gasped at his accusation as the other members laughed.

"I refuse to be accusated this way !" She said.

"Apparently you let him call you Noona, he talked about it on the groupchat." Jungkook said in a salty tone, obviously upset.

Maya still haven't cleared the waters with him due to her busy schedule, completely ignoring him and now, his friend was getting all close with her.

It was very upsetting for him, he wished he got to at least talk to her about this.

"Oh yeah, that groupchat.. Heard of interesting things."

The members stayed silent a moment, Hoseok rubbing her shoulder in comfort.

Jungkook lightly furrowed his eyebrows, questioning her last sentence.

She definitely meant something by that, but he didn't know what. He does mention her a lot, but it was never in a bad way, or degradingly, he always talked highly about her or just expressed how big of a crush he had.

Does her current behavior had something to do with the groupchat ?

".. How many kissing scene do you have to shoot though ?" Yoongi asked.

Maya's eyes widened at the question, not wanting to mention it in front of her boyfriends. However, it seemed like the question truly interested them, making her slightly nervous.

"Let's just say that.. Some of you wouldn't want to watch." She said awkwardly, her eyes widening as she tilted her head quickly.

They stayed silent, thinking before a gasp was heard from Hoseok, making Maya jump at the random action.

"There is a bed scene, it's a bed scene !" He exclaimed, making the other members widen their eyes.

"It's not a bed scene it's.. A lot of kissing scenes that are actually.. Making out and it's implied that we have sex after." She explained the best she could, trying to choose the best words.

"Does the company know about that ?" Taehyung asked, throwing his head back.

"No or else they'd take me out of the drama, the age gap between me and Sunbae is already quite big, if they know the drama has implicit bed scenes, they'll take me out for sure to avoid a controversy.." Maya answered, sighing.

"That'd be the best decision, though." Namjoon answered, ruffling his own hair. "I don't want to be intrusive in your decision Ya-yah, but remember the after-math. You're not an actress but an idol, one kissing scene is already walking on thin ice, but multiples plus implicit sex is too much."

"I-"

"We just don't want you to receive hate because of a drama, plus, I don't want to sound selfish but it might affect the group too." Yoongi added.

Maya didn't answer, her head falling on Hoseok's shoulder.

The rest of the car drive fell silent.

Maya knew they were right, but she also really want to do it.

If the earlier years of her career were agitated, it was nothing compared to now, and it was only the first quarter of the year.

The pressure that was put on the group was already insane, but the company add even more work on her pile.

Even though she said it was okay, as a company, they should've understood that Maya was still an human being.

Yet, she still wanted to participate in a drama, in the middle of all this mess.

"Mayaring don't be upset.. This is for your own good." Hoseok reassured her, rubbing her shoulder.

"But I can-"

"Maya-Yah." Jimin cut her off.

Maya turned to her boyfriend, looking at him with her big doe eyes.

Jimin sighed, rolling his head back.

"You've never been in a scandal and if you continue the drama, the mess you'll be put in will be extremely difficult for someone as clueless as you." He explained.

She furrowed her eyes brows at him.

"Stop infantilizing me, I know what I'm doing." She answered. "You act like I'm a big baby when I'm an adult."

The boys let out a common sigh, hating how stubborn she was.

They didn't had any bad intentions, they just wanted to protect her.

Netizens were ruthless when it came to things like this, and that'd affect her reputation grandly. However, they didn't know how to word it properly, because they did still infantilized her even after she called them out on that.

"The idol life isn't all flowers and rainbows Maya-yah.. I truly hope you never get caught up in a scandal."
