| Before this chapter starts, I'd like to know who you ship Maya the most with and why, it can be inside or outside of Bangtan.

After they had both finished to record the song, Maya and Jaehyun stayed in the studio to chill for a bit.
It was late, they didn't want to go to a bar. On the other hand, Jaehyun's dorm was obviously packed and Maya's not even thinkable, so they just sat there, together.
"I personally think you should be able to do what you want, Noona, but we're idols, it's true." The younger said after Maya had told him about what happened with her members in the morning concerning the drama.
Maya sighed, throwing her head back as she knew he was right.
Being an actress is a desire of hers, but it's not her first job. She needs to keep that in mind before trying to push it in the light instead of what she does to pay her bills.
However, she truly wanted to star in a drama. It was one of her dreams, yet she couldn't accomplish it or else it'll put her career and other peoples' in danger.
They've came from way too far to lose now, she just has to suck it up and sacrifice that, it's not that deep.
Seeing her face, Jaehyun panicked at the idea of saying the wrong thing and gulped, thinking quickly.
"But you can still become an actress when you'll be older, it's okay if you don't do it now !" He added rapidly.
Maya chuckled, nodding at his cuteness.
"You're right, life isn't over because of a drama.." She agreed. "I have to set priorities."
She stretched her arms on top of her head, stretching her back and making her bones crack, a small satisfied moan escaping her lips.
"I think I should head home now, Jaehyun-ah." Maya said with a small smile. "Tomorrow is also packed, I have to fly to Japan for a fan meeting event."
Jaehyun nodded as they both stood up, akwardly looking at each other. He was definitely taller and bigger than her, but her only presence reminded him constantly that she was a noona.
"Well.. Do you want me to drop you off ?" He asked, ruffling his own hair before putting his cap back on.
Maya chuckled in response, shaking her head.
"I'm the older one, I should be the one proposing you.. Ah, I'm such a bad Noona-"
"That's not true !" He cut her off, raising his voice.
Her eyes widened as she turned her head to him, taken aback by his action.
Embarassed, Jaehyung looked away, gulping.
"Jungkook.. Jungkook always tells us how much you do for him.. You're a good Noona and a good person in general, Im Maya."
Maya smiled and bowed her head to thank him, slightly flustered.
Even if she knew she was, it always feels good to hear someone say you're a good person, especially when it's someone as nice as Jaehyun.
They just looked at each other in silence a moment, not saying anything. It was weird, but not in a bad way.
Jaehyun broke the awkward tension and slowly leaned on Maya's face until he connected their lips, kissing her softly.
His lips were soft and he was a good kisser, but as much as nice it felt, Maya put her hands on his shoulders, pushing him away and shaking her head to him as he looked at her with question marks in his eyes, licking his lips to taste her longer.
"I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding, Jaehyun-ah I.. I already have someone." She said, avoiding his eyes.
Jaehyun completely pulled away, gulping in embarassment.
"Oh well I'm.. I'm sorry Noona, I didn't mean to-"
"No, no it's okay, you didn't know !" She said, giving him a small smile. "Now that you do.. Let's keep it friendly, hm ?"
He nodded, giving her back her smile.
"Fine by me, let's just pretend it never happened." He answered, not sounding bitter at all even though it hurt a little.
After all, he just got rejected by his crush.
The moment was cut off as Maya's phone started to go off, making her jump. She answered the phone, grabbing her bag on the studio's couch.
"Yeah ?"
"Im Maya-ssi !" Her manager's voice was heard, the woman sounding furious. "What am I supposed to do with you now Maya-ssi this is comeback season !"
Maya furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, anxiety starting to get to her.
"Unnie calm down and tell me what's going on, I'm about to head back to the dorm right now.."
"Check Naver Maya, it's trending."
She hung up on that, leaving the idol completely confused.
Maya laughed to herself like a mad woman, pushing her head back, her tongue against her cheek as held her hair tightly in her fists, looking at the top trending topics, the name 'Dispatch' and 'Maya' appearing multiple times.
