A weird stranger

Risha POV
We went to the hospital immediately. Meanwhile, I text mum-mum in case we will late. When we reached at the hospital, Alex told me we have to perform a surgery. I was a little bit nervous. It’s my first surgery. While I dressed for the surgery, Alex came to me.
“Nervous?” he asked me.
“A little bit,” I replied.
“Rish, you know you can do it. Don’t worry. I will be with you. Just follow my instruction. Ok?” he cheered me up.
“But if something…” I was cut by him. “No if. I will be there. You don’t need to be afraid.”
“Ok,” hearing that he went towards the door. Before he left, he turned back to me.
“Rish,” he called me and I looked at him. “I trust you,” saying that he left and with that my all nervousness flew away.
The surgery was successful. And thanks to Alex he teach me well.
“So how was that?” Alex asked me while we exited from the operation theater.
“Not as bad as I thought. Well it feels good to save someone,” I told him.
“Exactly,” he told me, when my phone rang.
“I have to take it,” I told Alex. “Ok. I will be in my cabin. Come after you finished,” saying that that he went towards his cabin and I picked up the call.
“Risha Mishra, where the hell are you? Did you went Mars for a mission and forgot to keep you cell phone with you? ” my mom screamed before I got to say any word.
“Good sarcasm, mom. By the way how do you get time to call me?” I asked as the same manner. They never give me much attention when I needed them. Sometimes, I felt like, I am adopted. If it were not mum-mum I would never knew how a parents can love their child.
“Is this how your mum-mum teach you to talk to your mom?” mom have always issues with mum-mum.
“Mom please at least you can’t question at mum-mum’s up-bringing. And I don’t understand, what did mum-mum do to get this attitude from you?” I asked her.
“Oh really! You don’t know what your mum-mum did? Your mum-mum took my daughter away from me.” mom screamed at phone.
“Mom it’s not mum-mum. It’s you who didn’t keep your daughter with you. And I don’t want to start another argument with you on phone. By the way I forgot to tell you that I joined at St. Thomas for my internship. I will talk to you later. Bye,” saying that in one breath I cut the call and switched off it.
Seriously my mom called me only because she wanted to scream at me. After cutting the call I was going towards Alex’s cabin suddenly I was pushed with something precisely someone. I was ready to fall so I closed my eyes tightly. But I didn’t fall. A strong grip was holding my waist tightly. When I open my eyes, I saw a gorgeous looking guy saved me from falling.
“Are you okay?” he asked me softly.
Wow his voice is like some melody. His dark black hairs looks massy like he pulled his hair with his finger out of frustration? His beautiful baby blue eyes simmering anxiety. But still with his heart shaped face, blue eyes like ocean he looks not less than a Greek Gods.
Wait what I am doing! Recently my ‘checking out men’ habit increased. Then I remember he asked me something.
“Yeah I am ok.” I replied like hours later.
“Are you a doctor?” he asked me the most stupid question. Definitely I am a doctor. I am wearing a doctor’s apron in the hospital. I am not in the fancy competition, am I?
“Yes.” Right after that word fall from my mouth he immediately hold my hand and literally dragged me somewhere, I don’t know.
“Hey where are you taking me?” I asked him. But he didn’t reply. After some time he took me in a VIP cabin. There was a twenty years old girl sitting on the bed. Her forehead had a small cut. That’s why he took me here. I went towards the girl and checked on her injury.
“Looks like a small cut. Nothing to worry about. I will bandage it and give some medicine. Then you can go home. Don’t worry ok,” I told that girl.
She mouthed a small ok. She was sweet and beautiful. Then I looked towards the guy, he was really anxious. May be she was his girlfriend.
“Can you go and call a nurse for me please and tell her to bring some dressing kit,” he left immediately after I told him.
“What’s your name?” I asked her smilingly.
“Aditi Knight,” she replied softly.
“Is that guy your boyfriend?” she started laughing after hearing me question. That wasn’t a joke.
“He is my brother,” she told me still laughing. Oh ok! I make some wrong assumption.
“Well he is quite caring,” I told her.
“Yeah. He is,” and that moment her caring brother came inside with a nurse.
Then I bandaged her and prescribe some painkillers.
“Don’t take too much pain killer. You will be perfect by tomorrow,” I told her.
“Thank you, Doctor,” she thanked me.
“You are welcome, sweetheart.” I told her softly. When I was about to leave, she hold my hand and suddenly hugged me. I was shocked at first then looked at her brother. He was as shocked as me.
“I hope I will see you again,” she told me when she pulled apart. I smiled and softly caressed her head.
“See you soon. Bye,” I told her and exited from the cabin.
“Excuse me?” I turned back and saw that guy approached me.
“Thank you for being nice with her,” he told me and giving me a genuine smile. His smile was beautiful.
“She is cute. So why won’t I be?” I told him honestly.
“Well, not everyone…Forget it. This is for you,” He was about to say something then stop and gave me chocolate? I looked at him in confusion.
“When I first saw you, you looked upset so.. When my sister got upset, she ate chocolate for fixing her mood. That’s why I always bring it with me. Since you were upset, I am giving you this,” I smiled at him and took the chocolate from him.
“Thank you. You know ice cream also can fixed your mood. You should try,” I told him.
“I will,” he smiled again.
“See you. Bye,” bidding good bye to him I finally went to Alex cabin.
“Took you long an hour. I was afraid that you left me and went home alone,” Alex told me when I entered his cabin.
“Good joke, Mister. Well I met a weird guy,” I told him.
“Really! Who is he?” he asked me.
“And you are interested because?” I asked him.
“Just asking. Out of curiosity.” “Forget that. Let’s go home. I am tired,” I told him.
“Ok, mam,” he salute me and I laughed. Then we left for home.
