Abhiudey POV
"Go," Isha mouthed when I looked at her. I looked at mom again, and I stepped forward and hugged her firmly. 'Yes, I found her; I finally found my mom.'
"Mom, I missed you. I missed you so much," I uttered between sobbing. She patted my back just like before.
"I missed you too," she told me when I pulled back, touching my face. "You have grown up. My baby boy has grown up," she uttered, might imagine my little image. She was also crying, and I cradled her. She kept sobbing, clenching my shirt. "I am sorry. I just become too much emotional," she told me, stepping back when she clams down.
"It's okay. I also used to cry when I was a child, isn't it, mom?" she laughed and nodded.
"How are you?" she asked me, touching my face.
"I okay. How about you?" I asked her, and she shrugged.
"Won't you wish your son, Nila aunt?" Isha told her.
"Of course; look at me, I almost forget. Happy birthday," Mom wished me.
"Thank you, mom. Mom, you have to make the birthday cake for me," I demanded as I used to. Mom laughed at my urging.
"I have already made it. I had made your favorite cake every year," mom told me, making me smile. I suddenly remember I didn't introduce Isha to her. I turned to Isha and gestured for her to come to me.
"Mom, my wife," I introduced her to mom. She stared at me for some time before speaking.
"So, you are that stupid?" she pulled my ears as if I was a kid and made some mischief.
"Ahh... Mom, it hurts. I didn't do it intentionally; I promise," I whined. "Princess, do something," she shrugged, giving me an innocent smile.
"You should be punished for hurting my daughter," mom scolded me, smacking on my head.
"Okay, okay. I got the punishment. I won't ever hurt your daughter, not even in my dream. Now, let off my ear," mom left my ear alone as I pleaded.
"You know, Mahi, I sometimes dream to make you my daughter-in-law. It seems that God fulfilled my wish," mom told Isha, patting her head. Isha smiled at mom and hugged her. I had never felt so happy before. The two most significant women in my life like each other. I went to them and embraced both of them.
"Did I miss something," I heard someone. We pulled apart and turned around to see the owner of the voice, and it was Sky.
"No, you didn't. Come," mom replied to him. He came to us.
"Happy Birthday, buddy," he wished me by the side hugged me. I thanked him. He really became a big brother to me.
"Attention, everyone. Nila Aunt Abhi both of go and talk outside. Sky and I will manage everything here," Isha announced.
"Nila Aunt, huh? If you don't call me mom, I will become a very bad mother-in-law," mom warned Isha and this little naughty just giggled.
"Okay, mom. Now go talk with your son," Isha pushed us outside the diner.
"Your wife is really something," mom commented, looking inside. I laughed and agreed with her. We walked along the sea. "How is your dad?" mom asked.
"He is the reason you left us, mom. You still have to talk about him?" mom sighed.
"Aren't you the reason Risha left? Yet you are together now," mom answered me with a question, leaving me speechless. I sighed. "You made a mistake, and she gave you another chance. In our case, your dad made many mistakes, and I gave him a lot of chances. But he didn't change. So I had no choice. That doesn't mean I don't love him anymore. Don't hate him. He is your dad," mom counseled me.
"Don't worry, mom. He is fine even without Aditi and me," she sighed and shook her head.
"How is she?" mom asked about Aditi emotionally.
"She is grown up too, mom, and she is a mother now. Our little Aditi has a little baby. You know, mom, he is so little and so cute," I gushed about my little nephew, and mom was surprised.
"Really! Did she get married? How do my son-in-law and grandson look like? Is my grandson look after his father or Aditi?" mom bombarded with the question. I laughed at her excitement.
"Mom, calm down. They aren't married yet. But don't worry. Andrew is a nice guy. He is taking good care of them, and if he wouldn't, he has to face me. They are going to get married soon," I showed their family picture to mom.
"I am so happy for them. I wish Mahi and you have also..." she sighed. "She told you, right?"
"She did. Not everything, but yeah," I replied, remembering the night when I found out about my child.
"She loves you a lot. Don't ever hurt her else you have to face me," mom warned me. I can see mom loves Isha more than me. Well... I felt a bit jealous as well as proud.
"I won't, mom. I can't afford to hurt her," I promised her.
"Hey, guys," and there comes my sweet princess. "Everything is ready. Come back," she yelled as she was much far from us. Mom patted my back and walked to the diner, and I was standing there gawking at my princess shamelessly.
Risha POV
After decorating the diner, I went to call Abhi and mom. Mom walked past, smirking at me while her son was still standing there smiling like a fool; I went to him.
"What are you smiling at?" I asked him, raising my brow. He didn't answer. Instead, he pulled me to him by my waist and kissed me passionately.
"We are in public," I reminded him breathlessly when he pulled back.
"But you are mine," he tilted his head and said. Then pressed his lips on mine again. After our make-out session, we went inside the diner. Sky and I decorated it with balloons and flowers. We celebrated Abhi's birthday here. We had fun all day; Abhi was so happy. I haven't seen such a big smile on his face for a long time.
In the evening, we bid goodbye to everyone. We walked alongside the shore. Abhi suddenly stopped me, and I looked at him questioningly.
"Thank you. Thank you for everything. I thought I would never meet my mom again, but you let that happen," he thanked me again, kissing my forehead. "I loved this surprise. This is the best Birthday for me," he told me smilingly.
"I have one more," Abhi raised his forehead. I turned my eyes to the sky, and Abhi followed my gaze. And then the fireworks began. The sky is filled with colors; The dark night sky brightens up with lights. The view was amusing. I glanced at Abhi only to find him staring at me with adoration. "The fireworks are there," I pointed to the sky.
"But my firework is here," saying that he captured my lips. He poured all his emotions into one kiss. I smiled at him when we pulled back. But suddenly, everything went fuzzy in front of my eyes. "Princess, princess," I heard Abhi calling my name faintly before darkness consumed me.
