Reminiscence

Risha POV

"Rise and shine, princess," I felt a hand gently caressing my head. When I opened my eyes, I saw the most charming smile on the earth.

"I am sorry I fell asleep. Your left hand must be shore. Did I hurt you a lot?" I inquired him concernedly.

"Relax, my flying jet," I pouted at his nickname. "What did I say? You can never hurt me," he reassured me, cupping my face and pressing his lips against my forehead.

"Hungry?" I asked him after settling down. He nodded. I called Nila aunt to order food. "They deliver food within 20 minutes. Wait till then, okay?" Abhi nodded again still staring at me. His stare was making me blush. "Will you stop staring?" he shook his head.

"Princess," he called me and I hummed. "Did you talk to mamma?" mention of her name made me more upset. "What happened, baby?" he worriedly questioned.

"Will she forgive me for what I did?" I asked him with teary eyes. Abhi wiped my tears away gently.

"She is your mom, princess. Obviously, she will forgive you. Just talk to her," he cheered me. I nodded in acknowledgment and mouthed 'I will.' "And what about Alex?" I sighed and showed him the letter Alex wrote for me.

"How dare that idiot calls me stupid!" is it the only word he interested in the whole letter? Incredible! We heard a knock on the door. Our food arrived. I took the food and thanked the delivery guy.

"Eat before it gets cold," after taking one bite his expression changed like he was reminiscing something. "Is anything wrong, Abhi?" I asked him concernedly.

"Who made this?" Abhi asked.

"Nila aunt," Abhi mouthed 'Oh'.

"I got to meet you Nila Aunt. She makes me remind of someone," Abhi told me absent-mindedly.

"Who," I asked him curiously.

"Someone who also left me," he gave me half-smile. Who is he talking about? "Anyway, let's eat. It's delicious," we finished our lunch silently.

Abhi don't want to stay in the hospital so I fulfilled all the discharge procedures. Will dropped us at my apartment.

"Will, go back to New York and manage everything until we return. If there is any urgency, don't call me," he was gonna say otherwise, but seeing me glaring changed his word. Good for him. If he is gonna work before he recovers, I am gonna kill him.

"You wrapped him around your finger, sis," Will's comment made me laugh. "But be careful he is tough to handle," I raised my brow in confusion and saw Abhi glared at him. "He didn't eat properly, sleep properly, when you were missing. All he did was work hard till death to busy himself," I looked at Abhi. My eyes glazed with water.

"Will, stop or I'll kill you," Will raised his hand in surrender. "Princess," Abhi tried to touch me but I ignored him and went to hug Will.

"Thank you for taking care of him for me," I murmured to him.

"It was my responsibility, sis. I am leaving him in your care now," he whispered back to me. We pulled back. "Bye," he bides goodbye to us.

"Wait," Will and I both snapped our heads to Abhi. He hugged will. That was unexpected. "Take care, brother," Abhi said, patting Will's shoulder. Aww... their brotherly love is making me cry. Abhi turned to me after Will left biding goodbye.

"Let's go inside first," I stated before he could say anything. I lead him inside, sat him on the couch. I was about to go to the kitchen when he grabbed my hand.

"Princess, please," he pleaded. He thought I was mad at him. But no, I am not. I am just sad that he tortured himself this much. I sighed and cupped his face.
