Risha POV
I can't believe what my parents asked for. How can they ask me, to make Abhi fell in love with me so that I could write his property in my name. I really didn't want a parents like them. After they left I called mum-mum. Talking with her gave me relief.
Then I heard some sound from downstairs. I got out of the room and saw Abhi and his father was quarreling over some matter.
“You should know how important that business deal are. And you were about to ruin it by insulting them!” Abhi's dad yelled at him. They really can't think about us. The one only important thing to them is business.
“Like I care,” Abhi retorted.
“You should care. Without the position you won’t be able to do what you wanted for years,” His father darkly replied. And with Abhi's expression changed into darker one. He clenched his jaw, fisted his hand.
“I will find her by hook or by crook. You can't stop me,” Abhi shouted at his father. I never saw him that dangerous. Though he is cold, he has a soft side in it. But this Abhi is something else. “It's your fault that she...” Abhi father slapped him before he could say further.
“How dare you! No one gave you the right to raise voice on me,” Daniel warned Abhi. Abhi laughed bitterly on it. What's wrong with them. What are they talking about?
“You can only do this, Dad. You can only raise your hand on your children, Dad. You can't love them! You will never changed!” saying that Abhi left.
I can't leave him alone. Not in this condition. So I went after him. He was in the rooftop, sitting alone. I went towards him and sat beside him. I kept my hand on his and slowly squeezed it. He didn't respond. He was Just staring at the space. That darken expression was still on his face. Truely speaking, I am scared of him a little bit now.
“You know, we always need someone with whom we can share our feelings,” I told him softly.
“I don't need anyone. I am happy with my life. You can go, I don't need you too,” he retorted coldly. Really. Who is he, told me to leave!
“Okay. Is this what, you called a happy life? Really, Abhi! Who are you kidding with?” I screamed at him. Then I placed my hand on his face making him look at me and I softly squeezed my fingers on his cheek. “Stop this. Don't hurt yourself anymore,” I told him softly.
I saw his gaze soften and he suddenly hugged me. He palceed his face on my shoulder and started taking deep breath. “I need break, Isha,” he whispered. I squeezed his back with my one hand and with the other caressed the back of his head. After a few minutes later his breath became normal. After that he pulled away.
“Better?” I asked him and he nodded.
“How are you?” Abhi asked me.
“Huh..” I was confused.
“I saw you crying. How are feeling?” he repeated his question. When I didn't answer, he said, “If you fell awful, you can hugged me too,” he offered. And I threw my hands around him without wasting time. He was holding me protectively. He was really protective to me. Before, he argued with his dad so that I won't get hurt. How sweet!
“Abhi,” I called him and he hummed. “Can you forgive me for what I said before,” I asked for his forgiveness.
“What are you talking about, I don't remember anything,” he shrugged and I looked up. He was looking me. His eyes has some mixed expression I couldn't pin point what was it.
“We can be good friends, you know?” I told him, looking at him.
“Aren't we friend already?” he asked and I nodded while smiling. He tightened his hold on me.
“Should we go for chocolate or ice-cream?” I asked Abhi.
“Both. But before let's get out of here. It's not our place,” he told me and pulled me up with him. Then he hold my hand and we got out of that place. Abhi told his driver to leave and he himself drove the car towards the ice-cream parlour.
“Do you wanna go inside or sat here?” he asked me, when we pulled in front of a ice cream shop.
“What will I do sitting here alone?” I whined. “Ok. Come with me,” he laughed while saying.
“Thank God. Finally!” I squealed. He frowned at confusion. “You laughed like decades later,” I explained. He smiled again and took me to the shop.
“Two chocolate chips ice-cream, and two mango flavour,” Abhi told the shop keeper. “Do you have chocolates?” Abhi asked him.
“ Yes sir, we have,” the shop keeper replied.
“Then pack some snickers, crunchie, dairy milk and KitKat,” Abhi told him.
“Ok, sir.” We took that ice-cream and chocolates, pay the bill and went to Abhi's car. When we are in his car, Abhi grabed the ice-cream and place it on my lap.
“Let's finish it.” We started eating. I took the chocolate chips and Abhi took mango flavour. I took one spoonful in front of Abhi's mouth and told him to try it. He opened his mouth then I fed him. He smiled at me and do the same. After we finished our ice cream, we went towards Abhi's apartment.
“Abhi,” I called him and he hummed looking towards me. “You told me before, you need a break, right? Let's take a break. The next day is your off day and mine too. So let's go somewhere,” I told him being excited.
“Okay. Let's take a break,” he smilingly told me.
“Then go get a sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day,” biding good night to him. I went to my room. Getting fresh, I went for bed.
At 3 pm I woke up suddenly, searched for water but the bottle was empty. So I went to bring water. I saw Abhi's room’s light was on. What is he doing at this hour. I peeped inside the room and saw he was working on his laptop. I went inside and walked to him and shut the laptop abruptly, he snapped his head up at that.
“Don't you know how to take rest,” I yelled at him.
“I-I didn't get any sleep,” he told me sleepishly. I didn't say anything. I pulled him up and took him to his bed and gestured him for lay down. He did as I said. I sat beside him on his bed.
“Close your eyes,” I told him and he did. Then I caressed his head slowly. What are trying to hide Abhi, being so hard on yourself?
“There is magic in your hand, Isha,” he whispered. “Thank you for coming into my life,” His voice was inaudible but I still heard it and smiled at his word. When I felt he fell asleep, I went to my room and laying on my bed, I fell into deep slumber within minutes.
