Abhiudey POV

I was in a deep sleep when I felt someone was showering kisses all over my face. I smiled inwardly. It's her favorite trick to wake me up every morning. I opened my eyes only to be welcomed by her dazzling smile.

"Morning, beautiful," without giving me an answer, she captured my lips into a mouthwatering good morning kiss. She brushed her fingers on my cheek and whispered my name, bringing her face close to my ear.

"I am sorry," I frowned in confusion as I heard her. When I was about to touch her, she disappeared in thin air. When I looked around, I discovered myself in a hospital room. What's going on? I found Isha lying on the bed motionlessly. I ran to her. I touched her face. It was colder than ice.

"Princess. Princess, please look at me. Please, Princess," I cried out. No matter how much I screamed, I didn't get any response from her. Instead, she was going far away from me; I couldn't even reach her no matter how much I tried...

"NO!" I screamed and sat up in a jolt. I was gasping for air and sweating profoundly. Another nightmare. I looked at the other side of the bed. Cold. Empty. She isn't here. She isn't with me. I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. With a heavy sigh, I got out of bed. After taking a long refreshing shower, I went to check on my sons.

After clicking their doorknob, I found them sound asleep cuddling each other. A smile found its way to my face, seeing my two-year-old sons. I went to them and sat on their bed. They are the only people who keep me alive while their mom is away from me.

"Rise and shine, champs" I kissed on their temple, fluffing their hair.

"Good morning, dad," Ayaan woke up, climbed on my lap, and kissed my cheek, which made me smile.

"Good morning, son," I patted his back as he wrapped his small arms around my neck. " Isn't your brother gonna wake up?"

"He is a sleep-monster," I laughed, hearing Ayaan's nickname for his brother. My other son, Rayan, has a personality that is just like his mom. He loves his sleep more than anything, just like Isha. His emerald green eyes always remind me of her. "Dad, don't worry, I will wake him up and take him downstairs after freshening up," Ayaan assured me. He is always the mature one among them.

"Okay, champ. Bring him downstairs, I am gonna make breakfast in the meanwhile," I told him, putting him down on the bed.

"Rayyy, wake up!" Ayaan screamed, going close to Rayan's ear.

"DAD! Get this screamer out of the room!" Rayan cried out.

"Not before you wake up," Ayaan retorted. I heard them bickering as I headed toward the kitchen. I laughed inwardly, seeing their mischief.

I started to prepare breakfast for my little devils. I miss my wife's prying eyes roaming on my back whenever I was in the kitchen, I missed her moaning sound whenever she eat the food I made for her, and I missed her back hug from time to time. God! I can't describe how much I missed her. I missed her eyes, her smile, her scent, I missed touching her, holding her in my arms. Her mere thought made my heart race. The sudden sound of the doorbell makes me jump, breaking the train of my thoughts.

"Surprise!" a cheerful voice echoed as I opened the door. I was dying to hear this voice. I was dying to see this beautiful smile. She threw her arms around my neck and I caught her instantly. She wrapped her legs around my waist. Before I could greet her, she pressed her lips to mine. I started to kiss her hungrily. I shoved my tongue into her mouth, exploring her delicious taste. She ran her fingers through my hair and pulled my head closer to hers. Her sweet scent filled my nostrils; God... She is driving me crazy. Our tongues entangled with one another, fighting for dominance.
