Third-person POV
Risha is already seven months pregnant. Her cravings and mood swings are getting worse. It's 2.30 at night. Abhiudey was sound asleep wrapping his arms around his pregnant wife.
"Abhiii!" Abhiudey snapped open his eyes and sat up in a jolt, looking at Risha worriedly.
"Are you okay?" Abhiudey asked Risha, still in a daze after waking up suddenly from sleep.
"Your babies are hungry," she mumbled with a pout. Abhiudey just can't resist this cute face whenever she does that.
"And what is it that my babies want to eat?" He asked Risha with a smile, pecking on her lips.
"Mum-mum's handmade chicken pasta," Abhiudey smiled awkwardly as she demanded.
"Umm, Princess, why not my babies consider eating my handmade food for tonight. As it's latenight, so mamma must be sleeping," he tried to convince her, nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
"NO," Risha stated sternly, crossing her arms around her chest.
"But, princess..." Abhiudey tried again, but nothing was gonna work in front of Risha's stubbornness.
"Do you want to keep your babies starving?" fresh tears were building up in Risha's eyes. Damn her pregnancy hormones! It's too hard to control Risha's emotions nowadays. Sometimes she becomes fed up with this, but there's nothing she can do about it. Being defeated, Abhiudey picked up his phone to call Alex.
Alex was sound asleep when his phone started ringing loudly. 'Fuck! I am gonna kill that person if it's not something important,' he cursed under his breath and received the call without checking the caller ID.
"Hello," Alex answered, irritated.
"Get your ass out of bed, go to mamma's place, wake her up and tell her to make chicken pasta. Then bring that to my place," Abhiudey's annoying voice rang from the other side.
"Are you out of your mind? Do you know what time it is?" Alex barked out at him.
"Your best friend's cravings don't have any watch. Now bring your ass here as soon as possible," he hissed through the phone before hanging up, without waiting for a reply.
'That bloody bastard doesn't have any manners. I only tolerate him for Rish and mum-mum. If he hadn't loved them so much, I would have killed him already,' Alex mused, but little did he know, he liked that bastard too.
Alex got up from bed, took his car key, and went to his mum-mum's place. After making mum-mum cook pasta for Risha, he left for Abhiudey's house, which wasn't far from there. 'Risha and her crazy cravings!' he smiled at himself thinking about his first love. He still loves her more than anything. When she left New York without saying anything, he felt like someone snatched his life from him. He spent his days in torment until he found out she was safe. Only if he hadn't left her alone and didn't go to Australia. Only if he had fought for his love, things could have been different. Right now the only word left is 'Only if'... Shaking off all these thoughts, he focused on driving and reached their place within minutes.
Alex had their door's passcode so he didn't bother to ring the doorbell and went straight to their bedroom. Abhiudey was dozing off, putting his head on Risha's shoulder; on the other hand, Risha was devouring the cake in her hand like a kid. She waved at Alex as soon as she saw him and concentrated back on her food.
"Don't eat by yourself. Save something for me too," saying that Alex snatched the cake from Risha and started to eat.
"My caaake!!" Abhiudey snapped up and looked around for any possible threat. His eyes bulged out when his gaze met with Risha. Her eyes clouded with water, she was on the verge of crying. He pulled her into a hug.
