Risha POV
“I bring breakfast for you?” my voice sounded like a question.
“Suddenly? Do you need something from me?” he asked me raising his brow.
“Well, suddenly I realized how stupid you could be not to feed yourself. And I only want one thing from you. Finish the food,” I told him casually.
“I am not hungry, Miss Mishra. You can go with your food.” He shrugged.
“You know it's the first time I did some hardwork to cook something for someone. And I am not going anywhere until you finish your breakfast,” I told him firmly.
“Don't waste your time. I am not going to eat that,” saying that he sat on behind his desk and started working on his laptop. ‘You think I am letting you work’ I mused. I kept the breakfast basket on the coffee table and locked the door then went straight towards his desk. He looked up when I closed the door.
“What are you going to do?” he asked.
“Finish your breakfast, first. Else I won't let you work,” I smirked and took his laptop from him. And backed up from him.
“Miss Mishra, give it back to me,” he told me, standing up from the chair And coming towards me. But I am not going to give that back so easily.
“Nope. You wanna take it? Then make me,” I told him hiding it behind my back. He came in front of me and tried to take it from me. And I started to play with him. I backed up tried to keep the laptop away from him and he came forward, tried to hold the laptop.
“Miss Mishra, don't play with me. Give it,” he told me in his coldest voice. Do you think I will back up? No way!
“Told you. Make me. Ouch...” I bumped with the coffee table and fell on the sofa. And Abhi tried to hold me but end up with fell on me. We kept staring into each other’s eyes. Abhi suddenly closed his eyes. Did he felt dizzy? He sat up after some time still his eyes closed. I also sat up and got worried. I went to hold his face but he shrugged off, took his laptop instantly and stood up.
“Get out,” he told me emotionlessly. But shook my head. Then he smirked! What the... He threw away the basket. That jerk!
“You...”
“Now, you can go without any tension. Oh by the way thank you for making that distasteful breakfast for me,” he told me smugly. I was beyond pissed by his little stunt.
“You think, you can stop me by doing this little act of yours? Then you are wrong, Mr. Knight. You don’t even know what I can do,” saying that I held his wrist and pulled him outside of his office. He was shocked at first. But when he composed his facade, he struggled to get out of my hold. But I am nowhere in mood of joking around.
I dragged him to the lift and pressed the ground button where the canteen was. In the meanwhile he succeeded to get out of my hold and went to press the stop button of the lift. But I am not letting him do that, so I pulled him so hard to me that my back clashed with the lift wall and Abhi's chest bumped into my head. And I was pressed between the wall and Abhi like a sandwich. My heart started beating so fast that anytime it will jumped out of the ribcage. Stupid heart stop beating so fast. After some time which felt like hours, Abhi pulled away and mumbled a sorry. Then again he tried to pressed the button but I held him back.
After a while, we reached at the ground floor and I again pulled him towards the canteen. When we reached there, I made him sit on a chair. But as a stubborn he is, he was about to stand. But pushed him back. Holding his chair’s handle, I leaned towards him.
“Keep quiet and sit here silently. Else I will tie you with this chair and feed you forcefully,” I told him sternly. Every person in the canteen was looking at us. Nobody has ever done something like that to their rude boss. Some were shocked, and some found that amusing. But Abhi was looking at me dangerously. I am not afraid of you Mr. Knight.
I ordered for me and him. Within 5 minutes they brought our food. I gestured to Abhi to eat. He started eating with a sigh. Thank God, he ate this time. I also started eating like I didn't eat for years. Well, I didn't eat yesterday.
“You can eat slowly. Nobody is going to take your food,” he scolded me.
“I am hungry. I didn't eat anything yesterday because of you.” Abhi stopped eating, and staring at me. Did I say that out loud! “No need to be sorry. If you want you can say thank you to me,” I tried to joke.
“Who said I am sorry? It's your fault that you are hungry. I didn't tell you not to eat,” he told me with an angry expression. I just shrugged. We finished the rest of our breakfast silently.
“Okay. I won't disturb you now. Go for your meeting and I am going to hospital. See you at lunch. Bye,” saying that I left for hospital. But I heard him cursed under his breath and slapped his forehead out of frustration. He was acting as a four years old child.
I again went to his office at my lunch break. When I walked into his office, I saw William there. Abhi was saying something to him and kept massaging his forehead asif he had a headache.
“Good afternoon,” I said catching their attention and Abhi cursed again. On the other had Will gave me a curt nod.
“You can do whatever you're doing after lunch. Come and eat something,” I told Abhi. He was about to say something while my phone rang. “Wait a second,” I added. Then I picked up the call. It was from hospital. There was an emergency and I have to go immediately.
“There's an emergency so I have to go now. Will, it's your responsibility to feed him. If he won't eat, call me,” I told William, giving him the lunch box.
“Why will he call you? He is my secretary. He won't call you.” He said. “He will.” I emphasised. “He won't,” Abhi retorted.
“If he won't I will sue him,” I exaggerated. “And I will fire him if will do that,” Abhi said. William was standing there and hearing our bickering.
“STOP! I will give you my resignation and go to the police station tomorrow. Are you both happy now,” William told us being frustrated. Abhi sat down with a sigh, I shrugged and left for hospital. William texted me later, saying Abhi didn't take lunch.
Later on, I waited a long time for Abhi with dinner. I fell asleep on dining table and didn't realized when he came back. Then I went to his room with dinner and ointment for his headache. Though he didn't tell, I know he had a headache.
I knocked at his door. No answer. The door wasn't lock so I went inside and saw he was laying on his bed pretending to be asleep. I kept the dinner tray on the nightstand with a note. Then I sat on his bed and applied ointment on his forehead.
“You shouldn't starve yourself. I know I made a mistake. You should angry at me not to punish yourself. Stop doing that. I kept dinner on your nightstand. Please do a favour on me and eat that. Good night,” I said to him and left his room.
--------
The next morning, I wake up early only to make breakfast for Abhi. But that idiot took the breakfast basket from me and gave it to the watchman. And also didn't take dinner yesterday. God! It's too difficult to feed him. He has more excused than a child.
In my lunch break when I went to his company, he wasn't there. Then I called William.
“Give the phone to your boss,” I told him when he picked up the call. “What do you think, Mr knight? You can hide from...” that son of a .... He cut the call! I again tried to call. HE SWITCHED OFF THE PHONE! Then I called one of my friend to track his location. If you are stubborn Mr. Knight, then I am more stubborn than you.
