Risha POV

"Can we talk?" he asked hopefully. I turned around and nodded at him. Mum-mum and Aditi went out to give us some space.

We were standing there staring at each other. He rushed to me and hugged me suddenly. He cried, hugging me tightly. I rubbed his back gently. It's me who made him cry. I always hurt him intentionally or unintentionally. I always felt guilty when it came to Alex.

"Alex, I am sorry," he pulled back, cupped my face, and kissed my forehead.

"I am sorry, Rish. I thought I could control myself when I saw you. But I was wrong," he sniffed. My eyes filled with water. All he did was love me, and I hurt him every time. My heart pained whenever I saw him getting hurt. I sat him. "You won't leave me again, right?" he asked with trembling lips.

"I won't," I promised him. 'I will stay beside you and will make sure you will find someone who will love you unconditionally,' I vowed to myself. He smiled with teary eyes.

"I am sorry. I am ruining your makeup. Your husband will kill me," he joked.

"Don't worry. I will protect you," I assured him, fluffing his hair.

"Now you are ruining my hair," he complained. I laughed, and soon he joined me. We heard a knock on the door.

"Looks like you two made up," mum-mum gushed, coming inside. "It's time for you to walk on the aisle. I can't believe I am sending my daughter off again," she told me emotionally. "He will make you happy," she added. Her words made me think of this day two years ago. She told me that I would find my true love within my husband. He would love me like no one ever did, and I am indeed the queen of his heart. The memories brought a smile to my face. Mum-mum turned to Alex and said, "And I gave you the responsibility to walk beside her," his eyes widened in disbelief.

"But, mum-mum," he went to argue when mum-mum squeezed his hand and assured him it was okay. He looked at me. "Let go," he gestured to me to hold his hand. I grabbed his hand happily. But wait! I felt nervous now. Am I look beautiful? Will I be a good wife? Will Abhi love me forever as he does now?

"Don't worry, Rish. You are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. Your husband will love you, and if he ever tries to hurt you again, I will kill him, promise" he comforted me as if sensing my discomfort.

"And exactly how many brides have you ever seen?" I questioned him ridiculously.

"Well... you are the first one," I glared at him.

"Hahaha. Very funny," I scoffed.

"But I am serious; you are looking gorgeous," I smiled at him and let him lead me to where my prince charming was waiting for me.

Abhiudey POV

"How am I looking?" I asked the guys, looking in the mirror.

"It's the fifteenth time you asked that in the last thirty minutes," Andrew retorted. Bloody idiot! He will understand at his wedding how it feels. I sighed deeply.

"As you can see, I am a little bit nervous," I confessed. Will tried to hide his laugh by coughing. These idiots find a chance to make fun of me. Let me get married first, and then I will show you.

"Relax, buddy. She won't run away," I heard Sky behind me. He hugged me as I turned around and patted my back.

"I hope she won't," Sky laughed, hearing me.

"You actually think she will?" he asked outrageously.

"Well..." I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. I heard someone clear her throat. "Mom!" I went to mom and hugged her. We pulled back, and she cupped my face.
