DALHOUSIE: Part IV

6 years later........

"Bondu ruk! " She chased me, while I ran towards my room, pushing people and mumbling sorry to them. My hairs flew in the air, carelessly. I once turned back to look at her and showed my tongue, teasing her.

"Are are kya hua? " Kittu stopped me, while I hid behind her. Rosie came panting and gasping for air.

"Kittu! Rok ke rakh usse. Jaane mat dena"

"Are par hua kya?"

"Ye dekh! Kisi ke liye kisi khaas ka letter aaya hai" I said while swaying the letter in air and looked towards Rose, who was looking like a real red rose.

"Hain matlab? " Kittu asked confused while I smacked her head.

"Ladai ke alawa dusro ki zindagi main bhi thoda dhyaan diya kar! "

"What do you mean?" She narrowed her eyes at me.

"The same you got! " I rolled my eyes when someone snatched the letter from me.

"Haah! Finally got it" She sighed in relief. "Now what will you do? Bondita! " She challenged me while holding the letter in the air.

"I will-" I stopped when the letter got snatched from her hand. She gasped and turned, just to find Mallika looking at the letter intensely.

"What's this Rosie?" She asked, but before Rose could answer, I interrupted.

"Jiju ka letter aaya hai. " I teased her, who blushed like hell.

"Ohhh! Liam jiju? " Mallika also played with me.

"You guys are so irritating" Kate lied on the bed.

"And you boring! " We three snapped at her and lied in a circle. My eyes fell on the calendar and I got up excitedly.

"Yaad hai 2 din baad convocation hai "

"Haan Bondu yaad hai. " Kate said.

"Toh chalo shopping karne chalte hain! " Rosie exclaimed.

"Shopping? " We three said in unison.

"Haan shopping. Kuchh achhi achhi modern saaree lekar aate haina. "

"Hmm.... Not a bad idea, varna ye top skirt main thodi hi degree lenge. " Mallika supported her.

"Okay fine let's go" I said.

Everything was changed in these 6 years. Most of the time, I tried to ignore Barrister babu on calls. Even in letters, I only replied about my studies. I tried to make my mind strong enough to ask him for divorce.

For a few months, I used to miss Samarth very much, but with the passing time, I stopped thinking about him. I know that I love him, but I still can't get that why did I miss Barrister babu more than him. Obviously, Barrister babu was living with me for very much time and I met with Samarth for a few months, I kept on repeating it.

The hostel was a British one and many times viceroy would come here. Being a bright student, I always gets a chance to welcome them and it's so easy for me to eavesdrop their conversation and tell their next plan to my revolutionary group. I know that it's not fair, but it's not even a percentage for whatever game they played with us. A few times, I have been caught by Kate, Rose and Mallika, for escaping through window, but I always made some excuses and saved myself.

One time, Nishant tried to molest Rose, but Kate reached there on time and saved her. We tried to talk about this to principal, but we were only four girls, so they didn't wanted unnecessary wastage of money for self-defense. I tried to explain them that it's not unnecessary, it's the most useful thing, but who would listen to an Indian girl? From that day, Kate thought to teach us self-defense.
