I finally met Salim after so long time and he hasn't even changed a bit. He was the same cheesy romantic type person and he also had some girlfriends in the past, with whom he broke up after a few years of relationship. Ironical to his nature, he wasn't even married. I already imagined him with his wife and three childs, but he lived alone. When I asked him what was the reason of him not marrying - even after setting up his career - he just stared out of the window and said, "I haven't met with the right girl till date"

I tried to lighten up the environment and told him about Mallika and her wish to practice under him. He was amused, but agreed. When I told this to Mallika, she was jumping in happiness.

Now everything was going perfect, there wasn't any "silence treatment" going on between me and Bondita and we were finally talking. Well, we mostly talked like strangers or teacher-student, because it was still hard for her and me to accept us as a couple again. We were again knowing each other from the start and this time I wasn't meeting a bubbly chirpy small girl, Bondita, but an independent woman barrister, Bondita Roy Chaudhary.

Tring tring!!

The shrill ringtone of the telephone filled the silence and I got up to answer the phone.

"Hello? "

"Hello Anirudh! Hum Salim. "

"Haan Salim bolo"

"Vo hume ek party ka invitation aaya hai lekin hum akele nahi jaana chahte toh aap bhi chaliyega humare saath"

Party? Me?

Not a bad idea though.

"Umm... Thik hai Salim. Main chalunga. Vaise kab aur kaha jaana hai? "

"Aap humare ghar aa jaana kal shaam ko 7:00 baje tak. Vahi se chalenge."

"Thik hai "

Bondita's POV:-

It's tomorrow! It's tomorrow! My first ever proper mission is tomorrow. This whole morning I was feeling giddy in my chest and a knot was twisted in my stomach. I don't like this feeling. Not at all. This nervousness is eating me up.

Thankfully, Barrister babu was going in a party with Salim babu, so it was more easy for us to sneak out. Mallika was busy with her case studies and she won't come out of her room for a few hours.

Someone knocked on my room's door and I asked them to come in.

"Bondita! Tum tayyar hona? " Samarth asked me, looking confident, but I know that he's nervous too.

I nodded and we both shared a look of determination, trying to cheer up each other's mood.

"Jaise hi Anirudh babu apni party ke liye jayenge, hum bhi nikal jayenge. Thik hai? " He repeated the plan.

"Aur Mallika se kya kahenge? "

He thought for sometime until his face brightened. Oh! Some more lies on the way.

"Bondita! " Barrister babu called me and I entered in the study with a bottle of phus-phus aka perfume. "Mera perfume kaha hai?"

"Ye raha" I gave the bottle to him and he sprayed it on his coat.

"Aap kab tak aayenge? " I asked, clearing my throat.

"Pata nahi par der ho jayegi. " He replied checking himself in the mirror for the last time. I nodded and saw that his coat collar was shrunken. I hesitatingly stepped forward and corrected his coat. He immediately froze and stiffened, which I ignored. I looked in the mirror and saw him looking at me through the mirror. I smiled a bit and mouthed 'Ab thik hai'. He blinked and nodded, grinning widely.
