Bondita's POV:-
"Tu dukaan main baithkar sirf vo kaanch ke golo ke saath khel rahi thi, kharid nahi rahi thi" Kate spew at me and I smirked listening her definition for bangle.
"Usse chudi kehte hain" I corrected her.
"Haan vahi. Chudi"
"Madam ko chudi bolna nahi aata aur chudi pasand karne ke upar bhaasan de rahi hain" I muttered to myself, but loud enough for her to hear.
I wanted her to hear.
"Haan toh tujhe bhi kuchh pasand karna nahi aata " She threw back at me.
"Kyuki mujhe jo, jaisa milta hai, usi main khushi dhoondh leti hu main"
"Agar khud se pasand karti toh shayad apni zindagi main sach main khush rehti" She said in anger, but it was enough for my heart to sink and move back to those haunted memories again. After seeing my change in expression, she realised that what she had said, as she immediately started apologizing.
"Bon-Bondita sorry... Maine gusse main zyada bol diya... "
"Koi baat nahi" I forced a smile towards her.
"Ab ye sab chhod aur chal kuchh aur kharidte hain" She changed the topic and I thanked her in mind. Nodding at her statement, I started to move, but realised that Barrister babu and Batuk were not with us.
"Kate! " I called her. Seeing my worried and panicked expression she immediately came towards me.
"K-kya huya? "
"Barrister Babu aur Batuk nhi hain yaha"
"What? Abhi toh yahi the" She looked around, searching for them. I did the same, but just to be disappointed. Where the hell did they go?
Common, fight more. Mrs. IRC jumped up in middle.
What's the connection of our fight and them disappearing?
Obviously, they would have been bored, like me, to see your and Kate's illogical fight.
If they were bored, then why didn't they stop us?
'Jab do log baat kar rahe ho toh beech main nahi bolna chahiye' She mimicked me.
Ugh!
Now go and search them.
Don't order me. I will do what I want.
Girl! We are same and whatever I am saying to you is equal to you saying to yourself.
Wait what?
Not understanding a single word of Mrs. IRC, I thought to ignore her.
"Kate! Hume Barrister Babu aur Batuk ko dhoondhna chahiye" I said to her worriedly.
"Bondita calm down! Vo log yahi kahin honge, tu zyada pareshaan mat ho"
I nodded and we both started to search for Barrister babu and Batuk, but we were unable to find them anywhere.
"Vo log toh yaha nahi hai" I exclaimed.
"Bondi! Don't stress yourself much. Vo log bachhe nahi hai. Yahin kahin chale gaye honge. "
