Hey guys. Here's part 3. Final part of the series. If you have any other requests to be made, chunk 'em in the comment section and I'll publish it as soon as possible. Cheers Mates.
Peter didn't move at all.
Tony's POV
Peter didn't move. I felt my heart sink in my chest. No, no he has to move. Please kid, move. I felt so numb in that instant, as if the world had stopped completely. I felt like I couldn't move, couldn't feel, couldn't breathe even if I tried to. I heard things being moved but I felt it hart to respond, until I felt a tapping on my shoulder. I turned my head but saw nothing. Weird.
"Alright, I'm going to start the extraction of the spirit now," one of them said. To be honest, I didn't really care who said it.
They started to move their hands in weird ways, mimicking the way that certain objects would move. They mimicked cutting his legs and arms and he screamed out in pain. But it wasn't him screaming. It was almost like a demonic scream. They pretended to slice is throat open and he went limp.
I walked out of the room, not able to stand watching my son in so much pain. They'll tell me when it's over.
Only one problem with that.
I couldn't move.{Time Skip}
Natasha's POV
I knew that Tony wouldn't have been listening when those ghost hunters told us that it was safer for both us and Peter if we were to leave the room. I turned to go and tell Tony this news that he missed and frowned. He looked like he was miming something but I had no idea what. He looked so stupid yet in genuine fear all at once. I decided to go and check it out.
"Hey, what are you doing? We're supposed to be leaving now."
"Yeah, one problem with that. I can't."I was confused. Not even a minute ago, he was so eager to leave and now he was yelling me that he couldn't? Did he really care for Peter that much as to be willing to put himself in danger if it meant that he got to stay with him? I didn't believe that.
"Why not then, hey? You were so keen on leaving and now you tell me that... that you can't? Why not?"
"Because I generally can not move right now. If you are going to be here then the least that you can do is help."Then, I realised. He wasn't miming anything, he was being pinned in the spot by... nobody? I was confused, least to say. But I went to get help anyway.
Tony's POV
When Nat came over, I told her to get help so that I can actually leave. Well, not nicely but hey I never said that. When help did finally arrive, it came in the form of a weird monitor and a camera? Whatever, I didn't care anyway. I was tired, I wanted to leave, and I couldn't move so if it could help then I really didn't care at this point.
When the boy looked at the monitor, his eyes widened to the size of watermelons.
"So, Sherlock..." I started.
"Simon."
"Whatever. Do you know why I can't move yet are are you just staring at me. I mean, I know that I am fabulous and all but there is no reason to gape like a fish out of water."
"No, sir. It's that there is someone holding you in place."
"Do I look gullible to you? There is nobody here."
"Yes there is, sir, and they are manipulating your energy to fuel themselves. That is most likely why you feel and look like you haven't slept in a week."I didn't even bother to argue. I felt awful and most likely looked worse. I sighed dramatically. If he could help me, then what more is there to lose? Everything. There is everything that you have that you could lose in an instant.
But I was willing to give it a shot."Alright, what do I have to do?"
{Time Skip Brought To You By The One And Only SI}
After a total of 5 hours, everything was back to normal. The spirits that were haunting, and ended up possessing Peter, were Ben and May (surprise, surprise). It was this whole spiel that they gave us blah, blah. Who cares?All I care about is that we are all nice and safe now.
And that we are never going in a haunted house. Ever. Fake or real.
Not worth the risk.
