"So Y/N. I know this will be hard for you, not seeing your brothers and all. Believe me, it will all be worth it in the end because if you comply, you shall be rewarded." Schlatt says with no remorse in his voice when mentioning my siblings.

"Rrwarded? What so like you expect me to roll over for you and you give me a dog biscuit?" I reply with a cold tone of voice but a hint of sarcasm.

Schlatt laughs, "Not quite. But you will definitely be rewarded in... different ways. If you wish that is."

I feel sick to my stomach as I look away from him. Quackity's eyes darken as he glares at the new president. If looks could kill, Schlatt would definitely be six feet under with a hole in his skull right now.

"I'm kidding doll face! Lighten up." We continue down the hall until we reach the exit.

"Y/N, I want you to patrol Manburg for a bit. Make sure everyone is in order. If anyone is misbehaving, kill them on sight." President Schlatt orders.

I simply nod my head, knowing that I won't actually kill anyone. Unless I see Dream causing havoc again.

"Oh and sweet cheeks, take Quackity with you. Just in case."

Quackity and I both walk out of the building together as I grip my new, enchanted netherite sword in it's holster.

"Sorry about him. He can be a bit much." Quackity apologises on the president's behalf. I simply give him a tight lipped smile, patting him on his shoulder.

"It's okay. Even if something goes wrong, I can protect myself. Believe me, if you'd have seen half the shit I went through, even you'd be impressed." I laugh slightly, remembering the time that Dream tried to get me to side with him.

We continue walking through Manburg when I see a brown fluffy head of hair. The boy was wearing a suit just like Schlatt, small horns poking out from his hair.

"Tubbo?"

He looks up at me and a sense of relief washes over him as he runs towards me. He tackles me in a hug as I try to comfort him.

"We lost Y/N. I can't believe we lost." He whispers to me as I rub his back to comfort him. I can't imagine how he feels losing his best friend, my brother.

I continue to comfort the boy as Quackity looks at us, a sympathetic look on his face which was mixed with... guilt?

We lock eyes for a moment until I look back down at Tubbo. "Hey, don't worry Tubbo. I'll fix this somehow. I promise you that. Things may seem terrible at the moment but we'll get through it." Tubbo nods, thanking me.

"Tubbo!" A voice shouts. Schlatt.

"I-I better go. Thanks Y/N." He stutters slightly, running over the the direction of Schlatt's voice. My heart clenches as I watch him leave. He can handle himself but I still worry about him like he is also a little brother.

"Come on Y/N. We still have things to do." Quackity breaks me from my thoughts as we continue to walk somewhere.

The next place we visit is the stables. Wait, is my old horse still here?

I rush inside, looking at each horse but I stop once I notice a familiar black horse. The horse was very tall and had a plait in it's hair.

"Striker!" I rush towards my horse with a huge smile on my face. Striker nuzzles me and I laugh, my soft side coming out.

"Quackity, where- how?" I ask, wanting to know how my old horse was found since I lost him around a month ago.

"I found him roaming outside the walls of L'ma- Manburg. I knew he was yours because I saw you riding him outside in the fields sometimes." Quackity answers acting quite shy. He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.

I rush over to him and embrace him in a hug. I would have never thought I would be doing this in my entire life. My strong demeanor melting away as I hug him, butterflies making their way into my stomach.

"Thank you. You don't know how much this means to me. Wilbur gave me that horse and I never thought I would see him again. So... thank you." I embrace him tighter as I feel his arms wrapping around me.

We stand there enjoying the moment as the sun creeps through the cracks of the stable. However, we are soon interrupted by someone clearing their throat.

"I thought you were supposed to be on patrol Y/N. Don't make me regret my decision. And Quackity, I expected better from you. You're supposed to be my right hand man." Schlatt walks towards us.

Quackity and I pull away, moving to create a two metre gap between us. "Sorry Schlatt. We just- Quackity found my old horse and I was thanking him. I thought that maybe we could patrol on horse back?" I use as an excuse.

Schlatt ponders for a second before shrugging at the pair of us.

"Sure, why not. Just remember what I told you Y/N. Don't try running away or pulling any stupid shit. It might just cost you your life. Or your brothers." The ram horned man smirks, walking away.

I let go if a breath I didn't know I was holding as he leaves Quackity and I alone.

"So... since we are now patrolling on horse back, maybe we could have a bit of fun?" Quackity suggests, signaling towards the open fields outside of Manburg. The same fields I used to ride Srtiker in when our nation was at peace.

"I'm in."
