"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream as soon as I close the door to my car, resting my head on the wheel. "I hate my job." I groan, sitting up.

I see a group of my coworkers start passing by so I quickly smile and wave at them.

I mentally scream again once their faces brighten and they walk over to my car. I turn it on, rolling down the window to talk to them.

"Hi Tsukishima-San! You left before we can catch you. We're going down the street for drinks and dinner, can you join us?" My coworker Asuka asks with a smile.

"That sounds lovely!" I match her smile with my own, but add a small pout. "Unfortunately, though, I promised to rush after work to watch my husband's practice. Is tomorrow okay?" I ask and they quickly agree.

"Ah, wait. Isn't tomorrow a work party? We're celebrating the new boss's arrival." Keigo, one of the few male coworkers who hangs out with us, points out.

"Oh! That's right. Then at least we'll have everyone there, right?" Asuka hums. "I wonder what he'll be like..."

After talking for a few more minutes I'm finally off to see Kei.

I stop by the store to get him a water just in case he's finished his already then drive the rest of the way to the gym. Practice is already in full swing by the time I get there, and I quickly change my shoes into slippers when I enter in order to not damage the floor.

I spot Kei and a smile instantly forms on my lips. I start to head over to the bench on the sidelines to put his water down but surprisingly get stopped by someone I've never seen before.

"Hi, this is a private practice. We aren't allowing fans to watch." The girl gives me an apologetic smile.

I stare at her for a second, confused on who she is. Nonetheless I quickly smile and bow.

"Good evening. I'm aware it's a private practice. My name is Athena. I'm here for Kei." I explain and her expression drops to an annoyed one.

"If you're aware that it's private then you should leave." She crosses her arms and I twist the cap off of the water, slowly sipping on it to give my hands something to do before I smack her.

"Who are you?" I ask and she smirks.

"I'm the new manager."

Ah. It's always the girl managers.

"Good to know." I walk past her, sitting down on the bench like I usually do.

Kei spots me and we wave to each other. A few of the other players look my way and we exchange waves as well.

"Are you deaf? I said you can't be-"

"Watabe-San! The water bottles are empty." Coach calls out, giving her a pointed look.

"I'll be right on it, Sir!" She bows towards him before looking at me with a glare. "Leave. Quietly."

She rushes off with that, and when I make eye contact with the coach he lets out a silent sigh and gives me an apologetic smile.

Manager. I guess it was about time they got a new manager since the last one quit.

But her? Really?

I stand up on the bench, looking out at the boys.

"GO KEI!" I cup my mouth, shouting. "I'M YOUR NUMBER ONE FAN! I LOVE YOU!"

I hold up the water bottle, pointing at it then at him to suggest that I bought it for him to drink. He looks over at me in amusement as Watabe starts storming over to me.

"MARRY ME TSUKISHIMA KEI! YOU ARE MY FAVORITE VOLLEYBALL PLAYER I LO-"

"Are you crazy?!" Watabe grabs my hand and pulls me down, just absolutely fuming. "I said to leave!"

The boys are trying their hardest not to laugh, even Kogane hasn't made a noise.

"I'm showing my support as a true fan. I'm not crazy at all." I smile innocently, setting the water bottle down.

"Ugh! This is what's wrong with your people. They're loud, obnoxious, and rude!" She seethes and my face wipes of any emotion as I look at her.

I rip my arm from her grasp, taking a step closer so that we're almost touching. I tower over her, a dark look crossing my face as I look down at the stupid girl.

"Say that again." I begin to take off my earrings. "I dare you."

"Watabe-San! What the hell are you saying?!" Coach runs up to us, pushing her away.

I feel someone pull me into their chest and I turn around to see Kei. He sets his hands on my shoulders, an irritated look on his face as he looks at me.

"Are you okay?" He asks, making me chuckle softly.

"It's not like I'm not used to those kinds of comments here." I reply and his expression turns into a deep frown. "I just got more annoyed because she was acting rude from the start."

"Should we leave?" He asks and I put my hands on his chest, gently pushing him away.

"No, love. You have a game coming up you can't miss practice." I shake my head as he purses his lips.

"Don't worry." Kyōtani comes up to us, an indifferent expression on his face. "Nobody likes her and we all think she's an ass sucking bitch."
