Another one.

Another young, feeble man left the house just as Oikawa walked in.

It had been like this for just about three years now.

Ushijima walked out, going to say goodbye to the visitor but stopped once he saw Oikawa, the brunette throwing a glare at his husband.

His husband of Five years.

"Tōru." Ushijima acknowledged him before pouring himself some more of the bourbon that had already been out.

"Ushijima." Oikawa had stopped using his little nickname for Ushijima a long time ago. The 'Ushiwaka!' he used to so desperately shout, mumble and moan hadn't left his lips in almost three years.

Not since Ushijima first cheated on him.

It was three years ago, Oikawa and Ushijima had a stupid fight which resulted in Ushijima getting severely drunk and going out, he ended up cheating on Oikawa.

Oikawa found out the next day after Ushijima had told him about it, and in his young dumbness, he too got drunk and cheated.

Now three years later, it had turned into a petty game.

They would go out, find the first desperate man they could and cheat on each other, then come home and let it be known to the other.

They were both stubborn with an excessive need to win in everything.

Oikawa moved from where he was standing at the door to the kitchen, pouring himself a glass after Ushijima and sipping generously at the liquor.

It was rich and smooth, Ushijima being a highly respected CEO of an ink printing company, had a lot of money.

However, Oikawa was jobless, merely a freeloader.

So not only would divorcing mean Ushijima wins, but also that Oikawa would end up broke and homeless.

At the end of the day, All he really had was Ushijima.

It was depressing and he found himself all too drained at the end of each day. The game had become tiring and he found it hard to catch up but he was too stubborn to give up now.

Ushijima had always been way more resilient than him, well not always, but as they grew, Oikawa found himself hardly caring anymore and Ushijima found himself caring too much.

They seemed to have switched roles as they grew to hate everything about each other.

Oikawa often found himself wondering if Ushijima really meant all that he said in his vows. All that crap about never leaving his side and forever being faithful. So much for that.

Neither one of them looked at each other as they drank solemnly in silence, a sharp pain of awkwardness split through them both. It was a pain they were all too much used to, They spent a lot of their time feeling mass amounts of that pain in the past couple of years.

Oikawa kind of wished Ushijima loved him more.

Ushijima kind of wished Oikawa didn't love him at all.

"Goodnight Ushijima." Oikawa brushed past Ushijima as he sauntered into their bedroom, beating Ushijima to it. He wasn't going to be the one sleeping on the couch tonight, It's Ushijima's turn, he decided as he sadly smiled to himself in the bittersweet solace of the room he used to love sharing with his husband.

the room now tainted with the sweat and young sheen of all those other men.
