(Aqualads pov)

Arriving at the lake attached to the river i found the shed it, I saw a large snake tail its head out of view due to it being out of the water, but from what I could tell it was the creature that shed the scales, as its scales matched the ones I had in my hand

Many fish where picking at other bits of shed being very careful to not bite the snake itself
But one seemed to be trying to eat the little cleaner fish, when it dashed to attempt to eat one fish it accidentally bit the snake
As soon as it did a scaled hand shot into the water, grabbed the fish and due to the shadow I could tell it threw the fish it landing dead on the other side of the lake.

After a few seconds the snake(?) Seemed to tense up a lot after having relaxed a bit

After another few seconds whatever it was it seemed to have turned to me slightly I had the feeling it was watching me

I came up to the surface to see the it was actually a Naga
The human half having white hair that seemed to flow in a breeze that didn't exist, his ears long and his eyes were really green, and seemed to be glowing slightly

He seemed scared very scared

Looking around I notice, Nightwing, Beastboy, & Cyborg on the shore, the latter seeming confused, the middle a little scared looking at the water, and the First a little confused and relieved.

"Hey Aqualad is anything off about the guy in the lake?"

"He is a Naga for one thing and he seems scared of us"

"Wait what? What does his tail look like?"

"White belly, the rest Black.
I found a bit of shed down stream the scales were super cold"

"Yeah that sounds like the ghost snake we found earlier his body temp was around 8°, and he was super fast managed to get away"

"I get a feeling that he is super powerful, its weird"

"I'm going to try to approach him and try to get him to come with us if he runs alert the team, but he does seem scared of us"

Approaching the Naga his tail tight but unwraped from the rock seeming prepared to bolt at any second, once I was within 20 feet he flinched backwards & hissed showing that if I did get any closer he would probably run and from what Nightwing said he was fast

"Hello my name is Aqualad, who are you" I questioned he seemed still tense but relaxed a bit

"Ph-Phant-tom" he whispered just loud enough to hear, his voice small & shy, it seemingly had a small echo to it

"He said his name is Phantom, his voice has a strange echo to it, im going to ask him to come with us, be prepared to run after him if he bolts, I don't know how well he can swim either"

"Well Phantom we are going to need you to come with us" I said trying to seem non-threatening to him

But instead he seemed to panic and dove under the water and swam away almost as fast as a marlin

"Phantom has bolted through the river connected to the lake with the waterfall, he is super fast and may be super strong as Naga normally are"

"I can see the guy swimming Aqualad you are about 100 feet behind"

"He seems scared, I can sense it from here but somthing seems off about him as if he's scared not only of us"

"That seems weird"

"We are following him he's moving fast"
