Mapleshade got up and grinned. "thought I'd give up by that?" Patchstar widened his eyes. "y-your not giving up?"

"never, not till your dead." Patchstar felt blood drip down his nose.

He sprang at her, not letting her touch his neck, never give up! Destiny whispered.

Patchstar sank his teeth into her scruff and he slammed her into the tree.

Mapleshade grabbed him by the paw and swung him into a boulder and she threw him into the tree.

Patchstar swung his fur over his head and he leaped at her.

Mapleshade dodged, making Patchstar fall to the ground.

Patchstar slapped Mapleshade's away, making her flinch.

Mapleshade skidded away, Patchstar followed her and pinned her down and dragged her through the twigs and branches.

Patchstar ripped her hind leg, do it now! Appledusk yelped. avenge us, save MapleClan!

Patchstar unsheathed his claws and limped over to her.

Mapleshade grinned and called the dark forest.

Patchstar felt the lights gleam, the dark forest sun rise.

Mapleshade leaped at him and flung him into a tree, he felt dark forest cats bundle on top of him.

Patchstar saw Maggottail and leaped at him as he hurt Larch.

He sank his teeth into his neck. no one hurts my brother,

"how are you this strong?!" Mapleshade hissed. "I have spirits on my side," he explained, and he let them fly to her.

He gazed at them tug at her bloody pelt and tear it and bite it.

avenge your deaths, he urged.

Mapleshade leaped at Ravenwing but Larch blocked Mapleshade.

"your not killing him!" Patchstar leaped at Mapleshade and kept her down as Ravenwing raked his claws across her side.

Mapleshade squirmed free, but Appledusk ripped her spine, "almost!"
