Patchstar saw that Larch had everything under control, he had to talk to Duskwater again, he had promised her a few days ago, and he wasn't going to let this oppurtonity fly away, he walked over to the dark brown tom. "Larch, will you be in charge for a second?" Larch nodded. "I'd be happy to, it's given me more excitement, off you go." Patchstar nodded, heading for the river where they'd meet, he sat there and waited for Duskwater, she came out of the bushes, her sleek blue-gray fur bright in the sunlight. "Duskwater, I promised to meet you more often, and I didn't want to break that promise." he meowed, Duskwater grinned. "I wouldn't break the promise either." her sleek fur waded into the river and she headed for him.

Patchstar noticed how close they were at that moment, he backed up a little, shifting his paws nervously. "So, how has RiverClan been?" he asked, "It's been fine, our medicine cat, Milkfur passed away, and so we don't know who will be our new medicine cat..." Duskwater answered, her neatly made head turning to RiverClan territory, "Where's Willownose?" Duskwater looked back at him. "She wasn't feeling very well today, she vomited this morning and she's feeling pretty awful, I hope she's okay."

Patchstar wondered, Destiny had the same affect when she found out she was expecting kits. "Does she have a mate?" Duskwater nodded. "With Spiketail, they've been together for a while now." Patchstar grinned. "Maybe she's expecting kits," Duskwater looked up at him. "That might be it," she did say she was heavy. "So it should be true, she's having kits maybe...But check in with the new medicine cat," Duskwater nodded. "I'll check in,"

Her white chest ruffled against the half stormy weather, Duskwater smiled at him and sat on her haunches, "How has...MapleClan? been?" Patchstar was happy to adress what happened. "Well, I got an apprentice named Bramble, he's a very good listener, and there has been no traces of Mapleshade anymore." Duskwater sighed, "Mapleshade, that's been spread through camp, even though it's been moons since she was alive."

Patchstar looked at his paws. "She drowned in the water a long time ago, but I had no idea she was in the place of no stars, that's why I became leader, by my own foolish thoughts of thinking my mother was good..."
