Jonen watching from home

I finally summoned the courage to watch the Hunger Games with the rest of District 9 in the square. Clementine and I standing at the front of the crowd, her mother behind us, staring up at the big screen where the Hunger Games is being streamed live.
That's what I'm doing now, Clementine at my side. We all saw the commentary from Lucky Flickerman and Claudius Templesmith. The sponsor capsules that Iris is receiving at the moment are implanted with bombs. Just 10 minutes ago she asked for gifts, and now that she's getting them... there's nothing I can do. If Pablo is letting these through, I'm going to kill him as soon as the games are over.
Iris has stashed all the capsules under a bush, kept one in her bag, and climbed a tree to rest. If they go off then she's dead.
A camera zooms in on her face, eyes shut as if she's asleep. No Iris! Wake up!
Then her eyes snap open as if she knows, and she drops from the tree and starts running. Iris has figured it out. I'm not sure what did it, but now there is a timer on the screen, counting down from 2 minutes. Two minutes until the arena goes up.
The one in your pack! I scream internally. In a minute and a half it will explode. She stops still, fumbling with her pack, getting her hands caught in the strings, and finally throws it to the ground. One minute. Iris starts stumbling and running, disorientated probably, through the trees. And she trips on a fallen log.
For a few seconds she lies still in the scorched grass, a substance that will go up in flames with the explosions. Then the camera switches to the careers, who are twiddling their thumbs in their camp, oblivious to the chaos. Back to Iris, who is still sprawled on the floor as another parachute lands next to her. 45 seconds... Hurry up.
She flings it into the undergrowth, running now, away from the bombs.
The camera switches to a bird's eye view, with little red crosses to show where the bombs are.

Everything breaks into a kind of hell that I can't even describe. Iris is blown backwards into a tree, the trees are on fire, huge clouds of dust and debris hang in the sky. She keeps crawling away from a chasing fire, a fire that is so vicious that it must be man made. Eventually she stands up and runs, scratches a cut open on her face and blood trickles into her eyes as she stumbles blindly through, across
 a stream and to safety.

Aight idk what I'm doing here. I'm bored af and just want to watch the next episode of 3rd life (minecraft smp) but I'll try my hardest to stay here for a while.

Stuff you may have noticed:

Iris, Clementine and Robin all have natural- sounding names.
The chapter names are quotes from the chapter.
Kamalyn doesn't really give af about Rift.
Most of the tributes in some way have a personality like the ones in the 74th Hunger Games.
I'm not motivated.
My writing style has been drifting depending on my mood. (When I'm bored it's sloppy and short, when I'm feeling ok it's good quality, when I'm tired I post one of these chapters)
Titus was basically Thresh.
This kinda stuff takes lots of planning.
Idk if this is even obvious but I do all my typing on google keep and paste it into wattpad, which screws up the formatting.
I use picsart for my cover.
I've changed the title to a Hunger Games collection instead of 36th Hunger Games (There's more coming on that later)
When I did how the tributes died Nikki's death method was incorrect, mainly because I had no idea about that plot twist.
Iris' father was shot dead, which is why there is only one mention of a father in the entire book.
Iris has to work 2 to 3 hours a day, which is why all the memories include something about work.

Jonen is not pronounced Jonen but more like Yonen. (German name, german pronunciation)
I've tried to bleep out and refrain from swearing.

There are almost no emojis in the chapters.
My life is currently rotated around this book.
Ight thats all I got.

JUST BECAUSE SHE'S THE MAIN CHARACTER DOESN'T MEAN SHE HAS TO WIN!!
Something to think about. Maybe not true, maybe true, but think about it.
