Winter.

Everyone's first thought of it is a snowflake or snow. But what I think of. Well, that's a different story. This is a story about how I met a certain someone who soon became the love of my life.

My name is Senra and I am the Demon of Winter.

No really. As a a demon, you probably imagine the classic horns and trident or whatever. Well I'm not exactly that type of demon.

I am a snow demon which means I wear a mask to cover my eyes. The mask I hold is the trademark of all winter demons; a simple white mask with red triangle on both ends over the eyes.

Why you ask? Because, our eyes are able to freeze anything we look at and completely turn them to a statue of crystal clear ice. It only affects humans and their companions that left the wild. Like those wild dogs that they us to pull those strange vehicles. I feel quite bad when I hurt them in all honesty.

And when I say all winter demons, I mean just me. Well kind of. Thousands of years before, many of my kind fled away and left my family here. Soon enough, they abandoned me to stay here, like all demon families do. I don't even think that they're alive anymore...The only family I have now are the wild bears, wolves, moose and all the other animals that live around here.

I don't mind of course. The place I live has the largest amounts of snow, trees dusted in the glittery white of the snow. There are barely any of you humans around, only venturing around the snowy wilderness from time to time. You strange creatures live in those wooden spaces that I still do not understand.

Once, I have accidentally walked into a town before, following one of my snow hare friends. The humans I encountered were curious enough to take off my mask and soon enough they were turned to ice. I had no clue what to do with them, so I kind of just fled.

"Stop snarling you pup! Go off now!"

I apologize for that strange saying with the following of whimpers. I am currently at a wolf den and one of the pups decided to attack me.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yes.

A strange occurrence happened, when my enemy, the Sun, decided to shine a little brighter than before.

The light it emitted was quite strong and I had no clue what to do. It melted the once beautiful white snow to mucky and runny water that mushed into the remaining snow.

It frightened all of my companion, all of them knowing that their natural home was about to be in complete ruin, allowing more room for those humans to move in further. As a winter demon, I had to do something. It was my home after all. I couldn't just stand there and do nothing.

So you want to know what I did? I'll tell you exactly what I did.

I created the most fearsome and dangerous blizzard in all of humanity.

That's right.

I couldn't think of any other possible way to keep the snow still formed in its wonderful shape so I did the best thing possible.

Of course, I told the animals to quickly rush back into their dens and caves to keep them all safe. I care about my family too.

Obviously when the blizzard was summoned, it took quite a while, but it still worked.
