Patronus

Dumbledore's Army continued and Harry was a good teacher. Now, we were learning how to conjure a Patronus to scare off Dementors. We were also learning our Patronus animals.

"Make it a powerful memory, the happiest you can remember. Allow it to fill you up", Harry said. "Keep trying, Seamus".

I searched my thoughts for a happy memory. I couldn't think of anything. Neville walked towards me.

"I can't think of anything", I said.

"A full bodied patronus is the most difficult to produce but, shield forms can also be equally useful against a variant of opponents", Harry said. "Fantastic, Ginny!"

I looked over at Ginny. Her patronus was a horse.

I closed my eyes and thought, fully blocking the background noise. I opened my eyes once I had found a memory.

"Do you think you've got it?" Neville asked.

"Yeah", I said.

"Just remember, your Patronus can only protect you for as long as you stay focused", Harry said.

"Expecto Patronum", I said.

I conjured my first patronus which was a Wolf. I smiled.

"Nice work, Iris", Harry said.

My wolf jumped around my head playfully. I smiled at it and squealed with laughter. It rolled as if it were laying on the ground.

My patronus ran around the room. Ron conjured a patronus which knocked Neville to the ground. Luna conjured a patronus which was a white hare.

It joined my patronus and ran around the room. I smiled at Luna.

A rumbled thud made me loose concentration. The chandelier on the ceiling shook.

The thud grew louder. I looked at the wall where the door used to be. Everyone walked towards the wall.

The glass on the wall shattered to reveal a wall with a hole in it. On the other side was Umbridge, my cousin and their crew.

Harry and Nigel jumped out of the way just in time when the wall exploded. Draco grabbed Cho, who stood beside them.

I looked at Harry. Him and Cho had started dating. Harry looked so...betrayed.

Umbridge had caught us.
