Chapter 13: Hospital Time

Harley's pov

I suddenly blanked out yesterday. Blank out...is that a term even? I probably just had a black out afterwards. I woke up to see an unfamiliar area around me. It was so clean, so neat, and so...white. This place is definitely a hospital. I adjusted my eyes due to the bright light shinning over me. It must be daytime right now. There was a vase with flowers of all kinds on my desk, as well as cards, a bear, -how did that get there- and a mirror. I picked up the mirror to see that my eyes had gone back to my usual green emerald eyes, but my hair was still a bit black. Hey, at least it is going back to my curly ginger hair. I looked around to find a digital clock alarming me of what day it is. It has currently been a week, that was last date I could remember from being brainwashed, since I was out. It's nearly quarter past 2 pm, so I am guessing I would have visitor soon. I can't believe I fell into a coma for a week! I sat up, tried to since I have gone a bit stiff, and tried to stretch my fingers first. It hurt a bit, so I stopped after a while. I wonder how long I have actually been here...

Suddenly, the door opened to a certain red hair that I know too well: my sister Lesley!

Lesley: Harley! You're awake!!!

She said running up to me and hugging me.

Harley: O-ow! That hurts...!

I said in response. She let go of the hug and put her hands on my shoulders.

Lesley: You scared me! You suddenly went missing, and attacked us, and you jump in some portal! When you came back, you weren't talking so when I tried to snap you out of your daze, you just passed out in front of me!!! Don't scare me like that again little bro.

She said crying while wiping her tears.

Harley: Sorry sis. I should've been a bit stronger...

But she then shook her head in denial.

Lesley: No, you are wrong. You are way too strong foe the world. You broke out of the brainwash first, right? And you survived all the critical damages that hit you...
Harley: I- thanks...

We hugged as though we didn't do so a while ago. I looked at her with a smile but then realized something.

Harley: How long was I out!?
Lesley: 8 days, well nearly.
Harley: So I was right. Well...what happened to the others?
Lesley: Well after you left...

Lesley's pov(Or basically the whole story of what happened)

After you went back from the time portal, you suddenly passed out. It was most likely due to mana depletion, they said. It was nothing out of the ordinary, but Harith said that your memories went back by then so we had Rafaela to bring you in. Angela was shut down, but all we needed was to reboot her and she was back. She has already been fixed, and is now under her third day of interrogation. After all this, she can go back to school.

Hanabi and Gusion only got minor damages, which isn't surprising since they are both good at agility. They healed 4 days after though. The damages they received, although lowest, are still a lot. No matter, they recovered their energies. They also finished interrogation, and so far they had no memory of the whole ambush. Also, their memories were restored. It was as though there is a trigger to it, since when Hayabusa arrived to see his lover Hanabi, and after a while of talking, she was back. When I went to Gusion, he was putting up a fighting saying he did not know me, until I recalled the most wonderful times we had together. Ah yes...I was his trigger.

Grock is next, and is still currently being cured. Right now, they are trying to extract the poison that was making him look like a lizard, but so far he's alright. After that fight, Johnson said he accidentally bumped his head on a building wall which helped trigger his memories back. I guess there is more than one way to trigger them, but at least he is back. He had his first interrogation yesterday, but he also doesn't remember his ambush.
