A couple years flew by living one the streets and Dally was about to turn 16. He hasn't seen Mark since he ran away when he was ten but that didn't bother him none. Mark never gives a hang about Dally. No matter if he was dead or drunk or in a car crash. He wouldn't care. Dally has been arrested a couple times since then. Once for stealing and another for a fight. Socs really liked to jump on greasers like Dally. But he was getting tougher and tuffer each day. So socs started to stay away from him because they all knew that Dally gets what he wants. If you mess with him, he will end up winning.
Dally went to the Dingo the next day and bumped into a group of what seemed to be seven greasers.
"Woah, watch it pal." One with sideburns and a mickey mouse shirt warned.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know... You had a problem with me or somethin." Dallas smirked.
"Just get out of here." Another with big muscles stated.Dallas started to run down the street. Not because he was scared of the greasers, just because he wanted to get to the Dingo early. The good broads were always the early birds. After a couple of minutes, the same group of greasers walked into the Dingo.
"Not him again." One said with chocolate cake all over his face.
This one greaser was just staring at Dally. He had tuff hair, but he only looked to be 13. Dally thought he had two brothers. The one with the muscles and the other who had movie star looks because they were always standing by each other. But he could be wrong.
"Whadda you want with me?" Dallas asked in a harsh tone.
"Noth... Nothing." He stammered.
"Good. That's what I thought." Dallas replied in the same tone.
"I've heard of you. You're Dallas Winston right?" He asked.
"Yeah. And who are you?" Dally sneered.
"I'm Ponyboy." Ponyboy stated.
"Well I got to go, Ponyboy." He replied.
Dallas walked out of the Dingo and headed to the vacant lot. That place has become his home. Dally never even got the chance to do what he came to the Dingo for. To pick up some broads.
