The door shut on the god's questioning face and I imputed the code to lock my door.

I rested my hand on the final six for a moment and bit my lip. The door shut and I turned away, ashamed to dwell on the number sequence. I am so sorry.

I wiped the tear from my face and looked up. It would be better when I could push these memories back down, hide them from the front of my mind. I had a special cavern just for them. I made my way down the halls, putting on my brown cloak as I did so, making sure the area of my right shoulder was covered. The cloak smelled of smoke and fire. I gave a small shudder.

As I made my way through the bustling streets of Sakaar, I squeezed my way through the parade. Very much aware that my lack of green was already calling me out as they celebrated the champion. I stood on my tiptoes to survey the crowd when I saw a short man that I had not seen before on this planet. He was constantly pulling down his... hideous... pants as though they were too tight to fit his body. As though they were not his. He was swiveling his head as though on a screw. He looked afraid like he was on the verge of a full breakdown. Deciding this man could provide me with some answers, I made my way over.

As I neared the strange man, whispering pardons as I did so, a large being shoved me from my path. The creature raised a large hand to strike the man as another arrived on the scene, wearing some sort of towel on his head. He reached his hands to block the blow, but I had recognized the creature as a fighter. Quickly, I grabbed the taser from my belt and pulled the lever. The beast froze, stunned, and fell at my feet.

The men looked at me as I wiped my hands off on my cloak.

"Are you alright?" I asked. As I got a good look at the man in a towel, I recognized him as the fighter from the other day. The Lord of Thunder.

"Yes, thank you." He responded. "I could have... taken him although. Not saying a lady such as yourself could not, I was just..."

"Why have you not left yet?" I asked, eyeing the towel on his head.

"There... was a complication. I am very sorry but how do you know about that? Who exactly are you?" The Lord asked.

"I was speaking to Scrapper One - Four - Two before she joined you. I...." I began to answer just as the scrapper arrived.

"Can you believe that man won't sell me a drink? I mean... oh. Hello, Scrapper Nighty Nine," Scrapper 142 nodded in greeting. I gave a small smile with a nod in response.

"Great, you all are here. I would request that you followed me. Now, please," I replied, focusing on the objective rather than the pleasantries that were bound to get us distracted.

"Oh?" Scrapper 142 said, eyeing me.

"Why? Who are you?" The Lord asked, glancing between me and the scrapper. The other man peered his head from behind him, curious as well.

"Listen, I am supposed to be hunting you for the Grandmaster. If you wish to leave, I have something for you to take," I said, with a sigh.

"Whatever it is, we still don't have a ship to escape with," Scrapper 142 responded. "Not yet anyway..."

"I am quite sure this gift can help you," I replied, placing my hand on my hip. I missed being able to cross my arms.

"I am glad to hear that, but why would you help us?" The Lord of Thunder said. Scrapper 142 rolled her eyes at the Lord's questions.
