"First thing's first; if I'm gonna be any help, I'm gonna need my hands." Springtrap said, holding up his stumpy wrists for us to see.
"I don't recall where Golden Freddy hid them...but it might be easy to find out where his hiding place is." Spring Bonnie stated, his brow furrowed in thought.
"Is there any kind of secret place Golden Freddy has that you guys might know of? Somewhere he can stash things he's confiscated or wants hidden?" I asked. Springtrap shook his head.
"Nothing comes to mind for me." He replied. Spring Bonnie was tapping his finger against his chin as he thought.
"I wonder if he placed them somewhere in the Frightmare? He probably guessed that we all were too afraid to go and explore there, and wanted things hidden beneath our noses." He murmured. Springtrap made a face of disgust.
"Of course he would. The little sadist probably stashed some kinds of corpses there too." He grumbled. Spring Bonnie rose a brow at his friend.
"Didn't you stash some corpses in 'hidden' areas?" He asked.
"I never said it wasn't creepy." Springtrap retorted.
"Well, maybe we should check out the Frightmare? It sounds like our best bet." I said. Spring Bonnie nodded.
"Alright then. We'll go and see if Springtrap's hands are there." He said.
The wind made the horror attraction building creak and moan, the sharp draft creating a howl as we gazed at the burnt ruins. Springtrap gazed up at it not with determination, but with fear. Spring Bonnie also shared a little bit of that worry, but he quickly flicked his ears and, with determination, opened the front door. It took some effort because of the thick layer of snow, but he managed.
The three of us ventured inside of the dark building, the wind creating the only ambience, and it wasn't a favorable one. For some reason, without Nightmare here, I was a lot more afraid of the old decorations and burnt suits laying around. Springtrap inhaled deeply and let out a long sigh.
"Good to be home, hm?" He nervously laughed. Spring Bonnie and I didn't even chuckle. The intact rabbit began to look around, searching nooks and crannies to find some sort of stash.
"You guys have been here recently. Why do you look so afraid?" I asked as I began to search as well.
"It's the same as revisiting a traumatic memory. This entire building is one big, traumatic memory for Springtrap and me." Spring Bonnie explained. I let out a soft hum in understanding and started looking around the hallway.
"We should split up. We can cover more ground that way." Springtrap growled. The two of us nodded and began to go separate ways. I took a hallway to the left, and Spring Bonnie followed me until he split to inspect a room. Springtrap went to the basement.
I looked around at the burnt ceiling and walls, and avoided planks of charred and broken wood as I explored. I searched for anything out of the ordinary, the wind the only sound I heard.
But as I was inspecting the inside of a box, I heard something...shuffling. In the walls. I stopped and waiting, expecting to hear it again.
Shuffle.
Shuffle.
I felt my core sink as I approached the wall and held my ear toward it. No sounds ensued, but I was patient. I could wait.
"What are you doing?" I heard Spring Bonnie ask. I jolted and veered around, not expecting to hear a voice. The tall rabbit was standing there, confused.
"There's something in the walls. It's moving." I explained, pointing to the wall I was just listening to. He approached the wall as well and held an ear against it, his brow narrowed in focus.
