The alarm blared in the boys' ears, waking them up aggressively. Levi turned it off and stretched. Eren plopped his head back on Levi's stomach, being too tired to actually wake up. The raven chuckled and pulled a strand out of his crush's face to get a better view of his features. Eren nuzzled into his chest, already over the embarrassment, and wrapped his arm all the way across Levi's torso. Suddenly, his fingertips brushed across a bandage half-hidden by Levi's shorts, and the boy winced with pain.

Eren quickly pulled his hand back and apologized, "Oh, Levi, I'm sorry! I didn't know you were hurt there. What happened?"

"I got into a fight with some idiot, but I'm fine," Levi assured, pulling his shorts higher to hide it, accidentally pointing out his bandaged hand.

It was the stab wound Petra left on him the night he killed her. It wasn't the only wound she left on him. The bite mark on his hand was still healing, and he was grateful Eren hadn't asked about it. But Eren only got more concerned.

"Woah, Woah, Woah!" Eren blurted, pulling Levi's hand closer. "Why have I not noticed these?"

"I was kinda hoping you wouldn't notice," Levi admitted. Eren gave a pitiful expression to the teen, making Levi sigh and pull him into a hug. "I'm okay. Now, let's get going to school."

The two got up and got ready for school. Levi also made sure to change their bandages, allowing Eren to panic more by seeing the injuries. The raven had to repeatedly convince his crush that he was fine.

As they hopped in the car and drove to school, Levi was carefully planning Jean's death. Marco was constantly updating on Jean's health, and, unfortunately for the murderous boy, he was recovering just fine. He was hoping crushed ribs and blood loss would be enough to kill the bastard, but Jean wasn't going down without a fight.

The school day went normally, besides second, until around third period. While the class was taking notes, Levi had finally made up his mind on what to do with Jean. He hated to say, but for the plan to work, he was gonna have to leave Eren for a few hours.

Levi tapped Eren's shoulder, grabbing his attention. He quickly whispered, "I need to have a personal talk with Hange during lunch and free period. I'm not gonna be able to hang out with you today, sorry."

Eren nodded sadly but perked up when Levi continued, "I'll still meet you after school."

The brunette smiled in response and returned to his notes. After the painfully boring class was over, Levi stopped Eren and drug him to the bathroom. He checked each stall to make sure it was all clear.

"Levi, are you okay?" Eren fretted.

Levi didn't reply and only abruptly embraced Eren. He was overjoyed he was allowed those moments and swore to keep expanding the boundaries without overstepping. Eren, though he was still afraid, liked Levi's touch just as much, but he tried to not let it get to his head. He kept reminding himself that Levi just needed affection. The brunette truly believed that it was solely friendly.

They stayed that way for a minute until Levi pulled back and shyly mumbled, "Thanks."

"No problem." Eren beamed, his face slightly flushed.

Levi smiled back and was about to leave before he caught something. Eren's shirt was sort of pulled down, revealing the bite mark Levi left when he had to sedate Eren. Though he had to cover it up with a liquor story, he had the real story at the back of his mind.

"What is it?" Eren wondered.

"You-a probably don't want anyone seeing that." Levi chuckled, pointing the bathroom mirror towards the mark.

Eren gasped a little before quickly covering it with the collar of his shirt. Levi bit his lip, thinking of the weak state his crush was in. He would've killed to see that helplessness again. The raven quickly shook his head from the thought.

"I still can't believe I did that. I'm really sorry." Levi apologized.

Eren mumbled, "Don't worry about it. I really don't mind."

Their eyes met in a gaze, subconsciously bringing them closer together. Levi's chest pounded and screamed for him to move closer, but the bathroom door opened. Eren jumped back.

"So close," Levi grumbled to himself.

"What was that?"

Levi scuffed out the door, barely answering, "Nothing. See you after school."

"For the last time, we should tell Kenny." Erwin reiterated, leaning against the computer desk.

Hange rolled her eyes and continued to browse her illegal web. It took her a minute before reasoning, "He's our friend Erwin. Besides, he's only killed one innocent person."

"Might wanna bump that up to two," surmised the blond as he stared at the security cameras.

Levi was heading towards the back entrance of the school, glancing around to make sure nobody was following him. Hange sighed and pushed her glasses up.

As the computer screens reflected on her frames, she politely asked, "Erwin, stop him and bring him here."

"And if he refuses?"

The frustrated girl tossed him a syringe filled with a tranquilizer. The brute nodded and slinked out into the hall, carefully choosing a path that would cross the raven's. Hange watched behind her monitor as Levi's fingertips grazed the exit before Erwin pulled him back. Levi tried to ignore him, but as Erwin flashed him the needle, he eased and agreed to follow him. The perky girl chuckled, spinning her chair around to face the door.

"Time to put rules in place." Hange huffed. "I was expecting Erwin to be more trouble."

"That kid's got him wrapped around his finger. Scary."
