(ERERI/COMPLETED) Levi had lost everything he loved. When he meets Eren, he'll be damned if it happens again. No matter if it is torture, murder, or kidnapping-Levi will have his Eren by his side. Students at Maria High disappear ONE BY ONE. Betraya...
Mikasa felt a nauseating slosh crawl up her throat. Her eyes were met with two pairs of eyes. One, fearful and deeply disappointed. The other, darkening with twisted glee. In the span of thirty seconds, Mikasa realized who sent the message.
"You sick bastard!" The girl spat. "What did you do to Armin?"
Her knuckles squeezed around the handle of her blade, turning them white.
"You better not have raped him!"
The word 'raped' sent a tick of shock through Eren. The little respect and care he had for her disappeared into thin air, and his personality made a one-eighty.
"Mikasa," Eren seethed, scaring both the girl and Levi. "Go home..."
"and don't ever come near Levi or me again, you psycho."
Levi lowered his head in a submissive way like a dog. Eren's posture made him look ten feet tall, and his stare was more menacing than Levi could ever compete with. The raven boy felt nervous for his own safety for a moment before realizing...he said, "Levi or me".
Mikasa's eyes stung horrendously, to the point they were nearly vibrating her vision. She gave one final attempt to convince him.
"My phone! The messages!" She blurted. "I'll show you the threat messages!".
Levi's breath hitched, the misstep hitting him like a brick. It was so obvious, but he was overwhelmed with Eren's father, his love's self-harm, and the lustful rush that came over him earlier.
The girl reached in her hoodie pocket. Levi scrunched his nose waiting for the plan to start crumbling into police involvement.
"W-Wait-" She muttered silently.
Levi scouted her hesitant moves and pale face. Her sure last-second confidence was replaced with final dread.
She lost her phone.
"Mikasa, just stop, please," Eren ordered. "Just stay away from us!"
Levi's knees went a little weak hearing Eren refer to them as an "us". The softly weeping girl had a completely different reaction. An invisible wall separated them. Her alone on one side; her dear friend and a maniac on the other. Eren's arm around Levi tugged the two of them towards the parking lot towards Levi's car. The slick savage sent her a freaky, toothy grin, sliding a hand on Eren's waist, before leaving her all alone.
They got to Levi's car, but instead of getting inside, they stood in front of each other. There were words that needed to be said, but they weren't being spoken.
Eren finally spoke, "Levi, I'm so sorry. I-I knew she didn't like you, but to go that ridiculously far-"
"It's all my fault." Levi was using his charismatic trick of using one emotion to set off another further to his advantage. "I should've been nicer and more distant from you. I didn't know I actually looked like a maniac; I just wanted to act like it...so nobody tried to hurt me."
His skill worked better than he intended. Eren encircled Levi in an embrace and demurred, "No, no, no. Don't let that insane weirdo mess with your head."
Levi returned the affection, digging his face deep into Eren's chest. The boy's sweet aroma gave him an addictive high.
"If it makes you feel better, I'm not gonna go anywhere near her from now on."

"What'cha writing?" Eren wondered.
Levi folded the paper and placed it calmly in his desk drawer. "Oh, just a list of things I need to take care of."
The brunette smiled brightly, "Anything I can help with?"
'I wish' he wanted to say, imagining them as partners in crime.
"Nah, it's family stuff. But I appreciate it."
The raven sat next to his crush on Levi's bed. Eren refocused his attention to his game, constructing a blocky base of cobblestone.
Levi interrupted his process by laying a hand on his thigh, perhaps a little higher than it should've been. Eren's face turned crimson and slowly looked over at Levi's monotoned stare.
"I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for ruining your and Mikasa's friendship, and thank you for warning me about her trying to stab me and all." Levi lied straight through his teeth. He wasn't sorry, and he wouldn't have let her even prick him.
Still, Eren fell for it. The empathetic teen paused his game and placed a hand on top of the one Levi had on him.
"None of that was your fault, okay?" Eren assured, scooting closer. "I honestly wasn't expecting that from her."
Levi breathily chucked.
"Can you promise me something?"
Levi nodded, "Course."
"Don't go anywhere near her. She's not right in the head, so I don't want you to be around her. You know what? Just don't go near, speak to, or even look at her." Eren commanded softly.
Levi felt himself internally scream for joy, but contained it. He promised, "I swear I won't as long as you don't."
"Deal."
Levi's phone went off, playing the ringtone for a message. He hesitantly moved away from Eren and checked it. It was from Hange; one word – doorstep.
"Hey, I'll be right back," Levi informed before sprinting down his stairwell and to the door.
He opened the door and glanced around. An ominous car was parked in front of his house, and inside were Levi's two allies – Hange and Erwin. As the engine revved up, Hange winked at him and rolled up the window. The pair darted down the street and out of sight.
Levi looked down to see a bag. He picked it up, reading the note on top of it.
You owe me an experiment. –Hange
He peered inside to see no other than Mikasa's phone. The raven muttered to himself, "How'd you pull off that, four-eyes?"
Levi hid the package in the coat closet and returned back upstairs with Eren.
"Everything okay?" Eren asked, his eyes more caring than usual.
Levi lightly smiled and nodded. "Yep. Perfect actually."
