Chapter-5 Understanding him

"It's Physics period." Grace informed as Naina took out her physics book.
Gravitation was taught that day. The physics staff had decided to have someone read few topics as the parts were already dealt in lower classes.
"So anyone volunteering to read??"
She asked looking around. No one volunteered.
"Fine. Let me call out someone."
Naina was praying not to call her.
"Sameer."
A sigh of relief.
"Read the sub topic Newton's Law."
He began reading.
Naina was listening keenly.
He is a good reader.
"I can understand nothing."
Grace muttered.
"So can I." Kamya joined.
"His voice is incomprehensible." I heard someone muttering from behind.
I looked at the staff. She showed facial expressions similar to that of others.
Why can none understand?? Let me get a personal appointment for everyone to an ENT.
"Sameer." Staff stopped him. His enthusiastic voice stopped and he showed a questioning look.
"You better sit. I want someone else to read."
His facial expression showed momentary hurt.
He quickly concealed it with a neutral face.
That was rude.
Naina looked into her book. She can't bear seeing him hurt.

"I can understand nothing." Grace chuckled.
It was lunch break.
"Me too." Kamya said.
"Why can't you guys understand nothing??" Naina asked "I was able to understand every single thing he uttered."
"Seriously??" Grace said with wonder.
"Naina. In this entire world, I hope only you can comprehend things he says. No other can understand him as you can."
"Sharp ears dude." Rithi smiled from behind.
All were chuckling and continued eating their lunch unaware of turbulence they created within Naina.
