Chapter-7 His support

"So today,we are going to try something interesting." The Life skills presenter said as she picked up the chalk.
Dead silence from the crowd.
"I hope all of you watch movie reviews in you tube."
Entire class nodded vigorously.
"Now I want one from each team to review the movie that recently hit theatres on Diwali.15 minutes for preparation and your time starts now."
The presenter quickly picked up people and divided the class into 4 teams.
Naina's team chose her as she was the only one in her group who watched the particular movie the presenter gave them to present.
Great Naina!! Finally Diwali movies are helping you!!
They aren't useless as your mom says.
"So the first team.."
Naina's team was the fourth while Sameer's was the second.
Come on Naina. Focus.
Sameer's team didn't perform well. She could see him protesting against Munna to raise his hand and vote for his team's review.
Impartial.
Does what he thinks is right.
Naina was busy practising when she heard whistles from her classmates.
What?
Oh great!
It was all because of a girl who had just presented and the whistles were because of her boyfriend who had voted for her.
Stupid immature rocks hooting and whistling for them.
As if they are Shivaay and Anika from Ishqbaaz.
She looked at the presenter who was standing there as if she was suddenly introduced to the world of atomic physics.
Poor lady. Probably doesn't understand anything.
The third team got 40 votes from the total strength of 52.
"Fourth team.."
Naina walked up to the centre of her class.
"So the movie.." She started the review only to be stopped by groans from the first team.
Naina was momentarily stuck.
She looked at Sameer instinctively. Their eyes locked for first time.She felt the groans and all other bullying disappear. Only Sameer was there to listen to her review. She reviewed the movie with full confidence.
Sameer was looking at her with a smile. He was donning spectacles that day.
It is his friend's.. but still suits him better.
A small smile lingered on both their faces throughout the time.
"Thank you all."
Best day.
"So votes.."
She could see Sameer raising his hand immediately.
He voted for the first time! That too for my review.
What else is required??

"So 41 votes.."

Soon the round got over and the fourth team won the third team by one vote.
One vote!! Sameer's vote!!
Naina looked at Sameer. He smiled.
Things are getting better than before.
"Thank you class." The presenter walked away.
