Rakesh checked for room number 205.
"Hey Chandru, better stand near the door man, it will be better," He yelled in phone.
Naina could here the other end chuckling. So did she. Her dad was impossible at times. Rolling her eyes around, she found out at last.
"Papa, wahan..." Her fingers pointed out. Room no 205.
Rakesh smiled sighing.
"Chalo," He twist opened the door knob and walked in followed by Naina. Just then her brown orbs met his brown orbs which widened like saucers at a glance of hers.
Naina felt it to be a dream.
Am I dreaming?? Is Sameer really in front of me??
I mean I am here to meet Chandru Uncle and Anu aunty. Their son who is injured?? Wait did we enter a wrong room.
Just then she heard the parents exchanging greetings.
No, I am at right venue. It means...God is Sameer's Papa and My Papa friends??
Sameer looked at everyone as if they were from Mars.
God!! What is Naina and her family doing here??
"Hey Sameer," Chandra walked near him,"Can't you remember who is he??"
Sameer smiled sheepishly.
"Hmm, he forgot me," Rakesh chuckled,"I am Rakesh uncle, family friend,"
Sameer blinked.
"Ok can you remember Rama aunty atleast??" Chandra asked and Sameer gazed at her. His memory refreshed automatically.
"Rama aunty!! You make Kesari for me na?? Every Saturday??" His eyes twinkled.
"He remembers Kesari and so you," Rakesh chuckled with Arjun. Naina couldn't control her smile.
Aww he is so cute!!
"And then meet Naina," Chandra pointed her,"Or the girl Nainu, your bestie back then,"
Sameer's gaze locked with hers.
Naina felt like it was a dream.
"You know what?? You used to be with Nainu like her second skin. You will cling to her as if your soul belongs to her. And so was Nainu, she will be like Sameer this, Sameer that, Sameer sit, Sameer stand, Both will be running behind each other like lost puppies," Chandra chuckled.
"Haan, then once they held hand in hand walked out of the enclave with no one knowing. We were searching for them and at last they were found at Park sleeping peacefully in each other's shoulders,"
Rakesh explained.
"That day you scared the shit out of us Naina," Rama acknowledged.
Naina felt the blood rush to her face. So was Sameer.
"It means Sameer Bhaiya and Naina di had been bff back then?? Waah...I think I must ship them together as Samaina," Arjun smirked.
Sameer and Naina gave him 'you are impossible look'.
"Where is Anu??" Rama asked.
"She is down to Pharmacy. Will be back soon. Now sit here, we have loads of things to speak."
Chandra declared as the elders sat together and chit chatted.
Just then Munna entered.
"Sameer, What about..." His voice stuck seeing Naina.
"Naina, Aap yahan kaise?? Yeh hospital mein kaise??" He asked with surprise dripping from his voice.
"Munna actually,"
"Naina Devi!!" Pundit popped out all of sudden from thin air
"Arrey, what are you doing here??"
Before Naina could say something,
"Oh you are here, to meet Sameer and talk regarding Ayush case??"
Munna spoke next. Standing near the door, they weren't able to see the elders who were maintaining dead silence.
"Haan, might be. Even we are here for same."
Naina signalled them to shut the mouth. Sameer knew that they have landed in soup.
Munna went on.
"Naina, I checked thoroughly, Mallika is involved and I am pucca,"
"Haan, She was the one who framed Preeti and Ri..." Pundit was interfered.
"Munna!! Pundit!!" Sameer shouted, "Meet Naina's parents, our family friends," He smiled signalling them to be silent.
Munna and Pundit looked at each other with sheepish smile while daring not to step inside the room at any cost.

Anuradha and Bela walked towards the room. They could see the two guys peeping inside the room from outside.
"Who are they??" Bela asked wondering.
"Never mind, they are Sameer's friends Munna and Pundit," Anu chuckled,"As saying goes like joins like, these dumbheads joined another dumb head, that's my son,"
"Hey bacho, move inside, why are you standing outside??"
"Anu ma," They both walked in. Internally they were shuddering.
"Arrey Naina, when did you come??" Anuradha asked surprised and then looked at her parents confused.
"Anu, he is Rakesh and she is Rama, our family friends back at Ziva Enclave,"
"Haan, hello Rakesh bhaiya, how are you??"
"I am fine ma,"
"Oh Rama, it had been long time meeting you,"
"Same here,"
"Arrey then is this Naina our Nainu??" Anu asked wondering.
"Haan, our Nainu. See how much she had grown up," Chandra confirmed.
"Mera Nainu," Anuradha caressed her hair.
"And I have a visitor, my bff at school, I said na I met her at market, she is here," Anu pulled Bela in, scaring the shit out of Naina.
Rakesh and Chandra greeted her. Rama was glad.
"Preeti ki ma?? How are you?? It had been long time since we had met,"
"Same here Naina ki ma, what to do?? Everyone of us are busy with families and kids, we never get our 'me' time,"
It was only then Bela's eyes fell on Naina.
"Naina?? You here??" Bela asked.
"Hello aunty, how are you??" Naina asked shivering.
"Fine,"
"You know her??" Anu asked.
"Haan, you know my daughter Preeti na,they both are best friends,"
"Preeti??" Munna gasped. Naina nodded affirming. Sameer could feel the heat of the situation. His eyes gazed at Naina.
Naina nodded helplessly.
"Is Preeti in PVM??" Anu asked.
I have heard the name somewhere.
"Haan," Bela nodded.
"My son is also from PVM," Anu said in a suspicious tone, "Which section is she from?? E??"
"Haan," Bela said in slight demeanor,
God!! Does she know about Rihaan??
Rama blinked.
Why is she interrogating??
"Preeti Chakraborty??" Chandra volunteered.
Naina looked at Sameer for help. Sameer licked his dry lips out of tension.
Munna and Pundit looked at things helplessly.
"Girlfriend, sorry ex gf of Rihaan Madhurani??" Chandra came straight to point, increasing the pulse of Naina.
Rakesh blinked.
"Gf?? Preeti??" He sighed,"She is sanskaari ladki and will do no things like that, I hope you are mistaken Chandru,"
"No Rakesh, wait," Chandra stopped him,"Just a second I will explain,"
He looked at Naina,
"Is she the mother of Preeti Chakraborty, Nainu??"
Naina gulped.
"Is she the mother of Preeti, the girl, whose ex, pushed my son against the steel rack instead of that guy...hmm...his name...Haan Ayush??" Chandra asked again for which Naina nodded helplessly in a positive manner.
Rama looked at her shivering daughter.
"Rakesh, actually what happened na..." Chandra explained things one by one to Rakesh and Rama. Sameer looked at Naina tensed. Munna and Pundit looked around helplessly.
"And I hope your daughter is in 4 weeks suspension now??" Chandra asked cockily.
Anu felt like the ground below her slipping.

"Chandru Uncle," Naina gathered her voice,"Preeti is not the girl you think, she is really..."
"Good girl??" Chandra asked with his voice booming.
Naina nodded.
"Haan Pa," Munna and Pundit acknowledged.
"Pa, What Munna, Pundit and Nainu are saying na, it's cent percent true," Sameer continued,"Preeti is very good girl in fact a well disciplined and innocent girl of school, I know her as Nainu's friend."
"Haan Papa," Munna nodded," What Sameer says is true,"
"Uncle, Preeti is a good girl, why no one is believing her??"
"How can We??" Chandra continued,"She herself said that she is guilty na??"
"What??" Anu gasped,"Chandra??"
"Yes Anu, The VP na, he called me regarding certain medical certificates required for Sameer's two month leave, that time he said the developments that happened next, in fact Preeti's own friend Swati, she confessed that Preeti is guilty, and then that girl with no loop holes to escape confessed,"
"My daughter is not so," Bela declared. Her voice choked.
"Ms Bela, you might be my wife's friend but directly or indirectly, your daughter is also a reason for my son's state today, so it's better if you leave before something else happen, I don't want to be a reason for your bond to be broken,"
Rakesh held his shoulder.
"Chandru, this is hospital,"
"Rakesh but..."

"Naina, take Bela aunty downstairs," Rama ordered, as she looked at Anuradha. No reaction.
Naina waited for a response. Sameer looked at his mother helplessly.
"Naina," Anuradha finally opened her mouth,"Take her downstairs,"
"I know the way Anuradha," Bela said as her voice trembled with anger," I know the way to walk out, thanks for calling me and humiliating my family. For calling my daughter characterless. Me as a good for nothing parent."
Chandra glared at her. The primal instinct of a parent had swallowed up his logical senses then.
"Take care of your son," She walked away not before glaring at Sameer.
He could notice the glare having different emotions within it.
Anger. Pity. Love. Hatred. Many emotions which he was unable to decipher.

Rakesh and Rama accompanied the already broken parents of Sameer to canteen when Sameer informed them that his parents didn't eat right from afternoon after getting to know about it via a nurse. Arjun being a foodie walked out with them. Munna and Pundit, excused themselves to home and promised to join Sameer and Naina soon.
So now it was Sameer and Naina alone.
Naina pulled the chair and sat near Sameer. He had turned pale than before. His eyes radiated tiredness. The IV fluid seeped through his veins continuously via the needle inserted in his left hand.
"Sameer," Naina called out.
"Hmm,"
"Preeti, Bela aunty..."
"I am sorry Naina," His voice stammered, "I am sorry, I couldn't stop Papa and mumma from..."
"It's okay Sameer, you aren't in fault," Naina declared,"In fact it was me who couldn't stop, I was dumb founded. I could understand nothing. It was blank for few seconds as I saw Bela aunty unexpectedly,"
The conversation was painful. Naina wanted to speak good things to Sameer. He needed Optimism then and not fights.
Her palm slipped under his needle inserted one subconsciously.
His grip tightened automatically.
"All will end well," Naina said looking into his brown eyes.
"Stop thinking about things Sameer, now all you must do is take care of your health, let the bones inside heal."
"But you know what Naina?? My dreams are broken," Sameer let a small sob," I couldn't control myself from thinking about it, I was about to be the captain of football team, my dream..."
The pain reverberated through his voice.
Naina on other hand was lost in her own thoughts. Too many things had happened in a short span of time. Her life had bestowed with enough surprises from morning. Preeti's confession, Swati's betrayal, Sameer's new status, Bela aunty's fight, god!!
Apart from that School project tension was taking its toll on her.
"Nainu..."
I never had a second thought before calling her so.
I could see her jerking out of her thoughts. Might be because of the way I called her. I couldn't decipher.
"Sameer..." She gasped.
Did he call me Nainu??
