"A minor fracture is what I predicted based on symptoms," The doctor informed Mr Chandra Maheswari who was listening keenly while Mrs Anuradha Maheswari was caressing her son's hair.
"Two hairline cracks might be there, thanks to slight bulge in calf area,"
"Hmm, what about shifting to a hospital?"
"Sure, I hope the procedures are done, Naina?"
"Yes doctor, all done,"
"Hmm, you can proceed," She signalled at the male staff who shifted Sameer to a stretcher.
"Uncle, the forms and files," Naina handed over three or four documents to Chandra.
"Thank you beta,"
"And Uncle, Ambulance had been called so that it will be comfortable and time saving."
"Hmm," Chandra smiled, "Thank you so much,"
Naina smiled.
Anuradha watched them. She looked at her son who was smiling faintly.
"Your secret admirer isn't she?" Anuradha whispered in Sameer's ears which made him smile inspite of pain.
"She is a nice girl," Anuradha said, "She is bubbling with innocence and cuteness, I could see myself in her, I was the same back at my teenage."
"If so mumma, pray that I shall be dad in this story," Sameer muttered to get a light pat on his shoulder, "Shut up Besharam,"
"Mumma, first you are my bff, next mumma so stop schooling me,"
"Hmm, Mr sorry... Jr Obhodro."

Preeti made way to Principal office.
"Excuse me sir,"
"Come in, Preeti Chakraborty?"
"Yes sir."
"Hmm, so Ms Preeti, you know very well that our school is keen on discipline and character of students and hanging out inside the school is prohibited."
Preeti blinked.
"It seems like you and Rihaan had been in a so called serious romantic relationship."
"Never." Preeti refused, "I was in no relationship with Rihaan sir."
"But the letter states in other manner Ms Preeti," Principal said in a icy cold voice, "And keep your voice down,"
He said extending the letter towards her.
Preeti read the letter.
"No...it's not the way you think sir," Preeti stammered, "I and Rihaan, no sir, Actually that day,"
"No explanations, did you fight with Rihaan the other day?"
"Sir..."
"Yes or No,"
"Yes sir but,"
"Did you slap him?"
"Sir..."
"Yes or No,"
"Yes,"
"I need to meet Mr and Mrs Chakraborty," The Principal informed VP standing next.
"But Sir..."
"No more explanations. Waise bhi Rihaan had accepted the fact that you guys were in a relationship," The Principal pulled out his apology letter, "Have a look,"
Preeti's vision blinded due to tears.
"No...He is...it is a lie..." She stammered.
"Now you might leave my office, I shall meet you tomorrow with your parents,"
Preeti took heavy steps towards the door.
She felt like someone stabbed her with a knife right into her heart.
Rihaan?? Me?? Relationship??
Hey Bhagawan!!

Naina reached the classroom only after shift hours.
"Naina,we packed your bags," Kamya declared while fetching out Naina's assignment papers handed over to her in absence in class.
"Congrats, you have been selected for second round in GK quiz,"
"That's great," Naina smiled faintly.
"How is Sameer?"
"Hmm...fracture had been predicted...might have reached hospital by now,"
"Hmm."
Suddenly someone back hugged her.
The tears rolling down the cheeks of the person wetted the uniform fabric of Naina.
"Preeti," Kamya gasped while looking at her friend who was crying bitterly.
"Preeti? What happened?" Naina asked only to realise the things that happened in her presence back at Principal office.
"Naina, Rihaan...I...relationship...apology letter...parents..." Preeti hiccuped.
"Sshh..." Naina pacified her.
"I did nothing."
"I know, I was present when Principal was interrogating Rihaan,"
"What?"
"I mean, Rihaan declared his love for you in a letter and Ayush handed it over to the Principal stating it to be the reason for fight between them. He fabricated stories that you and Rihaan were in a romantic relationship etc."
"Ayush? But why did he do so?"
"No idea Preeti but..."
"Preeti, you are here?" Hema said in a taunting tone. Soon Swati,Ananya and Grace came in.
"Wow...you had been in a relationship with Rihaan...Mr Romeo accepted that you are his Juliet!! You act as if you are innocent but the things you do are just disgusting!"
"Mind your work Hema," Naina warned.
"Oh Naina! I could understand that Preeti is your bff but you can't keep supporting her, can you?"
"I am not supporting her but saying the truth, Ayush was fabricating stories."
"Really, then just a second," Hema pulled out her mom's phone from the pocket of hers.
Logging into her Instagram ID, she kept scrolling for good twenty seconds.
"What about this?" She extended a week old post.
It was a selfie of Preeti and Rihaan in a restaurant.
"Just a second, that was took when our parents met in a restaurant regarding some official work. You know right?
My Papa is an auditor while his Papa is a businessman, this is not like the one you think..."
"Just cut it!" Hema shouted, "We all got to know about your true colours. I always used say right, not to believe her and she is not as innocent and naive as you think,"
"Hema! Could you please stop? You can't be judgemental." Swati cut her in middle.
"What do you mean by judgemental Swati?" Hema asked, "I am saying the truth."
"All of you please be quiet." Grace interrupted.
"Exactly," Ananya said.
"We can't arrive at a conclusion with a pic or one's confession. This is a sensitive issue so please shut your mouth and think of a way to save Preeti from the mess," Naina rebuked while consoling Preeti.
"Naina is right," Swati declared as she sat on one of the benches.
Kamya was fiddling with her fingers.
Should I say what I heard the other day to them? I am not sure if I heard the right one but...

"We never expected this from you Mr Rihaan Madhurani," His mom rebuked.
If I am called using my surname then it means that I have landed in soup.
Rihaan didn't dare to maintain an eye contact.
That bastard Ayush! He fabricated the story and Principal believed it. Myself and Preeti! No way! First of all I didn't write any letter. Secondly how did the things that I know came to the paper that to with my handwriting.
Is someone playing a game?? What if Naina had did this??
No...she won't. That naive and ever frowning girl is too stupid to do such things and scheming is something that's on top of Everest in case of her. Impossible!
"Rihaan," His Dad shouted," Are you lost in dreams of that ladki? What's her name...ummm.. Preeti."
Rihaan clenched his fist.
"First of all myself and Preeti have no relationship, it's all humbug. Secondly Ayush fabricated stories. Thirdly That bloody principal forced me to sign the apology. I was forced to apologise."
"Don't you dare to raise your voice against me," His Dad warned, "Now just get lost from my sight,"
Rihaan stomped away.

Anand was busy having his evening tea.
Bela placed the plate containing sweet biscuits on the table while picking her cup of tea and sipped it slowly enjoying the taste.
"Preeti ki Papa...I am so happy today,"
"Kyun?"
"Hmm...I met my best friend back at school named Anuradha when I was purchasing things at market,"
"Achaa..."
"But we didn't get time to speak things, someone called her from the school her son...uska naam...hmm...Haan...Sameer, and she left immediately."
"Did you get her number?"
Bela nodded negatively.
Anand laughed at his wife's antics and it was only then his phone buzzed.
The caller ID displayed 'Mr Madhurani'.
