Naina was having the sambar rice from home. It was almost second term of educational year and she felt no more weird of having lunch at school.
She was noticing that something was amiss in case of Sameer.
He had been skipping breakfast more often.
"What are you thinking about Naina??" Swati asked.
All the friends had assembled in canteen today.
"Nothing."
She smiled.
"Look there." Grace said "Sameer and friends."
"These idiots hardly have their breakfast. They satiate their appetite with coffee at morning. Munna shall come late to class because of that and end up sitting on floor if it's Shanti man's maths class."
"Won't they cook at home??" Hema asked.
"I think they don't." Kamya replied.
Naina was lost at Sameer.
Only coffee for breakfast?? What does he think of himself??
Preeti once fainted as she skipped breakfast.
This idiot is having only coffee and plays football like an obsessed maniac during PT period.
Fainting is okay. What if he gets ulcer??
Will he spend his entire salary for hospital bills in future??
"Again she is lost." Kamya said as she pinched Naina.
"What??"
"It's almost time. We must go to class. It's Maths period next."
"Haan. I am done."
Naina walked to class with Kamya.

We were near gate. Rithi was standing near me.
She was skipping her breakfast for past one week.
Why do people skip food if things don't well??
"Rithi." Naina began.
"I wish to say something to you."
"Hmm..."
She looked at Sameer standing just behind them with Munna and Pundit.
"You must never skip breakfast hereafter."
"But.."
"No ifs and buts. Guess what??
If you skip breakfast, you have possibilities of getting ulcer at an early age. Do you have idea of spending entire salary as hospital bills?? Drinking a coffee instead of breakfast won't do the needy."
Naina could hear a momentary pause amidst the trio.
"If I see you skipping your breakfast, I shall slap you the same way I do in case of Preeti and Swati. Scoring high marks doesn't mean by spoiling our health and learning during break."
Rithi looked at me and nodded.
"I skip breakfast but I don't drink coffee."
"I heard that some of my intelligent peers do."
"I won't skip breakfast hereafter." Rithi said with a smile.
Naina smiled.
The pause from the trio too said the same to Naina.
"Ok bye."
                                           💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Naina opened her tiffin box. It had chapatti.
As she took a piece and dipped it in kurma, she looked around.
Sameer was sitting their sans Munna and Pundit and was having idly while reading the computer science lecture.
Small yet beautiful change.
Naina smiled as she stuffed the piece of chapatti into her mouth.
