Chapter 2

The black jeep pulled up inside the garage, and the raven haired girl jumped out of the van, tossing the keys to Kai . He walked up to her, "Did he say anything?"

Nya shrugged, "I blanked him."
Kai gently put a hand on her shoulder, "You need to tell him, otherwise this is how it's gonna be, unless you speak up."

Nya looked down, "I want to forgive him...but my mind is telling me not to..."

"But what is your gut telling you to do?" He asked softly. Nya shrugged.

"To forgive and forget...but what if it wasn't me? What if it was Skylor instead? You'd be just as mad as I am!"

"Jay can be an ass sometimes, but the sooner you tell him, the quicker he'll move on. Plus, I miss the two of you running around pranking us left and right!" The two laugh, and Kai lightly kicks the slightly elevated vehicle he was trying to fix. X - 1 Ninja Charger.

"What's wrong?" Nya asked.

"I've been trying to fix the stupid gears, it doesn't work!" He protested. Nya chuckled and grabbed the skateboard that was resting in the corner. She laid on it, and used her feet to slide under the vehicle.

"Spanner!" She called out.

Kai handed it to her and she started working and meanwhile Kai took a seat on the wheelie chair and sighed. "Hey, I just wanted to ask...it's mine and Skylor 3 years anniversary tomorrow...and I wanna do something special...any ideas?"

She slid out from under the car, placing the skateboard back in the corner and placing the spanner on the workbench, "Take her out to dinner...or get take out and chill at our place...Skylor's one of those girls whose ideal date is get takeout, go back home, watch a movie and have sex. It's pretty self explanatory."

Kai scratched his chin thoughtfully, "You know, for someone who still hasn't told her boyfriend she wants to break up, you're pretty good at relationship advice, ya know?"

She grins, " Where is Skylor anyway?"

"She's visiting her noodle shop. She should be back anytime soon"

Pulling up in his car, Cole jumps out and clears everything out of the car. "Those 'Sons of Garmadon' are everywhere!" He grumbles angrily as He removes the number plates off the car.

"We can't help it, Cole." They're gonna be around, like it or not." Nya said.

"Where's Seliel?" Cole says.

"She went to the Ed and Edna junkyard to visit her adopted parents."  She says.

Nya grabs the keys to L.I.D, also known as Lady Iron Dragon. It was her motorcycle that she made with her bare hands.

"See ya later waterlily!" Cole calls out, but she's already off.

Nya, Skylor, Harumi, Pixal and Seliel were roommates. They shared a 2 bedroom apartment, it was cramped but pretty cosy.

Cole drives the car into the paint station, put on an apron and safety goggles, goes to the paint shelf, and picks out a deep orange paint. Cole starts spraying, washing and painting the exterior.

She had just gotten back from a two day trip to the scrapyard. Ditching her stuff, She sneaks up behind Kai and wrap her arms around his waist, kissing his neck.

He turned and picked Skylor up and sat her on the counter. She giggled and leaned in-

"GROSS! GET A ROOM!" They turn to see Jay grabbing another cup of coffee.
