Chapter 4

"We gotta go, Wu's given us a job," Lloyd says as he walks over to Nya.

"Hold on, just lemme finish this-"

"No can do, princess," Nya hears footsteps coming towards her and the next thing she knew, she was lifted up and thrown over Lloyd's shoulder, "LLOYD MONTGOMERY GARMADON I SWEAR, IF YOU DON'T PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW, I WILL END YOU!"

Lloyd chuckled, "Nah , I'm good!" She felt him jump on a bike, and her eyes widen in fear.

"You're not thinking of driving like this, are you?!"

"Hmm, well now that you suggest it..." He must have felt Nya feel tense, because he set her down, "Relax, I'm joking! Plus your brother and boyfriend would hunt me down!" her glare faded.

"I dunno about boyfriend," she mumbles under her breath. He must've noticed Nya's face, because he let her pick the songs on the way to the location.

They jammed out to her playlist and shared out a bag of crisps that he had in the trunk of the bike.

"So...what exactly is this mission?" Nya asks very curiously.

"We're gonna be tracking down a friend of Wu's. I don't know much about him, except his name's Morro." He responded, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Morro...where have I heard that name before?" Nya thinks to herself.

Without realising what she was doing, Nya finds herself wrapping her arms around Lloyd's waist, and resting her head on his back. Even though she was aware of what she was doing, Nya didn't budge; She felt comforted, safe...

"No! you have a boyfriend! But...would it really matter, since I was gonna break up with him. And plus, they weren't around to witness anything.." She thinks to herself.

Somebody shook her shoulders, "Hey, we're here,"
She jumps up, and nearly fall off the bike, until Lloyd's arms wrapped around her waist, breaking her fall.

He helps Nya up, "Easy there!" He said chuckling. she laughs and they make their way up the wobbly pathway. Taking a deep breath, Nya knocks on the door. But at the same time, Lloyd rung on the doorbell.

"Oh, um, sorry! I thought-"

"No, no! I shouldn't have..."

They both look at each other, light blushes creeping up on their cheeks. Nya looks away, and at that moment, the chains rattled, and the door opened,
revealing a guy around Lloyd's age.

He had black hair with a streak of dark green and deep brown eyes...He looked so...familiar but where?

"Can I help you?" His voice was deep-ish.

Lloyd cleared his throat, "Yes, Wu sent us. You know him, right. This tall, long white beard, wears a weird hat, carries an old bamboo stick around-"

"Yeah, I know him, why?" Morro looked interested now, and he'd opened his door wider.

"You know about the Sons of Garmadon?" Nya asks.

He scoffed.

"Yeah. Those dicks cost me my job! I'm sitting duck up here!"

"Well Wu...has a job for you. He said you were the right person for it, since he knew how much you liked taking revenge.."

"Say no more, I'm in. Lemme grab my stuff." He said, going back in the house. He returned shortly, with a duffel bag. "I should warn you guys, I don't have a ride cos of those assholes either..."

Nya produces a pair of keys. "Wu told me to give 'em' to you," She explained.

He takes it and presses the clicker, leading them to a motorbike, similar to Cole's bike, but it was grey with streaks of dark green.

He smirked, "Let's go!"
