Chapter 22

Kai's eyes squinted as he slowly sat up, clutching his head as Kai took in his surroundings.

'Wait why am I in the hospital?' Kai begins to though about, all the memories from yesterday came rushing back to Kai at once he thought about it.

'Harumi was 'Person A'...Seliel was also in hospital...Harumi's the person who killed my father..'

Kai looks over on who hand he was touching, it was Cole who was snoring his head off.

"Psst! Cole!" He jolts awake.

"I'm up I'm up!" He yelps as he looks up to see that Kai was awake and smiling.

"Firefly!" He hugs his boyfriend tightly giving Kai a hard impact, putting his hands around Kai's waist very carefully.

"Your okay!" Cole had said with excitement within his voice.

"Of course I am..why wouldn't I be?" Kai had laughed a little, giving Cole back the hard embrace of the hug.

"Oh I don't know maybe....because you almost died in my arms as Jay was driving to the hospital while Nya was trying to stop the internal bleeding from your abdomen! You were losing a lot of blood and I thought I was going to lose you." Cole had said with tears watering in his eyes as he is unable to let go of the hug.

"Cole..you know for a fact that you could never lose me. Sure I've gotten stabbed or even shot by people but necessarily I always survive the impossible." Kai had said, smiling as he releases his arms away from Cole's torso.

Kai smiles directly into Cole's beautiful brown eyes when suddenly he sees something that was very different on his boyfriend's face which made his smile from instantly.

"Oh my god...what happened to your face?" The brunette teenager had said, Cole's face was very much bruised up after what Jay did to him which didn't hurt Cole that much.

"Oh uh..me and Jay got into a fight because one of the nurses asked me 'what was my relation to the boy' and I accidentally said 'oh I'm his boyfriend.' Like the idiot I am which caused Jay to get mad because I totally forgot that Jay didn't know that me and you are a couple." Cole had spoken, rubbing his hand against his neck behind his black long hair.

"He said something that he didn't really mean as he was attacking me but..I would've totally beaten the hell out of him except I didn't want to put him into a hospital knowing that you and Seliel were already in a hospital..however me and him are good now since Jay apologized."

"Also I found out that my own father is dead due to a overdose..haha how funny is that?" Cole said as he laughs very sarcastically.

"Cole I- I'm so sorry to hear that." Kai had said as he puts his hand onto Cole's shoulder, trying to comfort his boyfriend.

"Ah, don't worry about it. Me and my father didn't have a close relationship like me and my mother did." Cole was now looking down at his shoes in silent; he hated how he didn't have a close relationship with his own biological father as he grew up as a child.

"You see after my mother passed away..my father became an alcoholic. Everyday after my dance practice that I was forced to do but I only did it because of my mother, I would come home just to get abused by him."

"My dad wouldn't just abused me until I apologize for my so called 'actions'. He would only do it for fun and would continue to abuse me for hours until he was satisfied. This happened for months when I decided to pack my bags and move away from my father. He didn't care that I was moving away from him."

"I was so tired of living with him. I had to clean after his shit all the time but now I never got to tell my father how much I cared about him. I never got to tell how much I loved him. Yea, I hated how shitty he treated me but somewhere in my heart..I respected him." Cole had explained to his boyfriend, fidgeting his hands very rapidly.
