Chapter 33

From the palace grounds, Morro was suddenly tackled to the ground by a guard.

"Someone tase him now!"

Morro groaned as he felt the pain rushing through his body, weakening him. The same treatment was given to Lloyd, whereas with Zane, somebody clasped chronosteel chains on his wrists. They wouldn't stop his power, but he would be weakened a great deal.

"Take these imposters to Harumi at once."

"Yes, General UV."

"My, my, what do we have here?"

"Trespassers, your Majesty. They seem to have pass the security"

Harumi nodded, "Is this all of them?"

"Just the ones we caught."

"Their friends must not be too far then. Go and find them."

"Of course."

The guards raced off, and Harumi glared at Morro, Lloyd and Zane, "Hmm...well what do we have here."

"You three dare to stop me from resurrecting the oni warriors..how foolish." Harumi laughs, nodding her head no.

"Throw them to the corner and let's get started." Harumi had told her guards as she walks towards the masks which was floating.

The guards threw them into the corner with the others, Cole, Nya, Jay, Skylor and Seliel. Cole looks to his left and he could see the royal family, their mouth was taped up and was chained up.

"Where's Kai?" Cole whispered.

"No idea. He might've left when I was talking to Seliel about the plan." Skylor said which made Cole nervous.

Harumi immediately starts her plan and all Cole could wonder was where was Kai?

Kai knew this was a stupid plan but he knew what Harumi's plan was. To resurrect the oni warriors and to have power. He was on top of the building, watching the guards from above. He had seen Cole and the others get caught but him, himself was thinking of a plan.

How was he able to defeat Harumi's army? She had a man who was 10x taller than him along with the 19 people guarding his friends and the royal family.

Sure, he had elemental powers but did he know how to control them? Absolutely not.

He was just himself. He had no army with him. He was just alone.

But the more Kai watches the guards, the more ideas he got. What if he breaks one of the masks? The only way how you can break the oni masks is with elemental powers but..you can possibly die from it. Was it worth dying?

To Kai, it was worth it even for Cole. He would do anything for Cole.

Kai puts on his mask and quietly jumps down, he grabs his blades and instantly uses it against the guards, knocking them down. Kai was sure that he was going to Kill Harumi, for the sake of his family and the sake of ninjago.

"Don't do this rumi! Think about ninjago!" Jay yelled out.

"Shut up Jay. I could care less about this city, this stupid fucking city that deserves to be burnt up in flames" Harumi says looking at the masks.

"I always hated the city. Including the people in it. Everybody here ruins everything."

"Besides it's not like you guys will be alive by the time that the oni warriors comes out. Every single one of you will be dead, including Kai himself." Harumi laughs which made Cole angry, his hatred grew more. He wanted to murder Harumi.

Harumi was just about to say something before she heard a thump on the ground, She didn't bother though as she was just about to start the spell. She started to chant some weird words that nobody really understood. Cole could see the portal appear and everybody thought they were doomed.

The door kicks open that there stood Kai, pretty angry. He already had blood on his suit he was wearing and his face. He was out for blood, and that wasn't a good thing.

"It's time to end things Harumi." Kai voice was angry. Pissed off.

"It's too late for you to stop me Kai. Your already late. Guards, attack him!" Harumi shouts at the guards who ran towards Kai, the moment that the guards were running towards him he saw this opportunity to jump on top of them.

He was punching them and throwing them around. Cole was in love with him even more. He turns around and uses his elemental powers at him, the guards were running around like crazy. They were getting burnt to death. Kai uses this opportunity to grab them and snap their neck.

"Holy fucking shit" Kai didn't know how to exactly use his powers but he was sorta getting the hang of it. He could hear Killow and UV running directly at him with knifes as he jumps on top of UV, grabbing her leg he swings her towards Killow knocking them out.

Kai takes off his mask and heads for his friends, he could hear more guards coming but he knew he wasn't going to beat them alone.

"Kai?" Nya said, very shocked from his own brothers elemental powers.

"I know. I just recently found this out. Crazy how you find out that your father was a old elemental master." Kai says as he unlocks the lock with the key that he stole from one of the guards who were guarding the door.

"There'll be more guards trying to attack and stop us from ruining Harumi's plan but I have an idea." Kai says very determined. Kai never liked being leader, it was always Zane or Lloyd's job but from the looks of it, the team didn't know what to really do in this situation. The situation was so fucked up.

"Zane, Lloyd and Seliel, you guys get the royal family out of here. There's a chance this building might explode into pieces. The rest of us will stay here and fight the guards that Harumi sends in."

"What about Harumi?" Jay says, really confused.

"Leave her to me." Kai said as he puts his mask on. Kai's plan was easy and simple, it wasn't complicated.
