Chapter 14

A jeep pulls in and Jay jumps out, with Griffin, Ash, Zane, Pixal and Harumi.

They toss their phones on the counter, "We got some dirt on those asses!" Jay cheered, running ahead to find Kai.

Rolling my eyes, Morro turns to find Skylor, who was laughing with Seliel. She then notices Morro and waves at him to come over, "How ya doin' Diaz?" Seliel asks, grinning.

"Why, I'm doing just fine, Pinkie!" Morro smirks and leans on the counter, "Lloyd called me. We're partying hard tonight!"

Skylor'a eyes gleams with mischief as she stares down at Seliel who smirked, "WE'RE DOING IT!"

Three more bikes pulled in, Morro could easily notice them as Nya, Ronin and Lloyd. They jumped out, whooping and cheering, as Ronin held out a wooden box smirking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you, our box of goodies and entertainment for tonight!"

All of them cheer, except Jay and Harumi who were...nowhere to be seen?

Harumi was taking Jay somewhere, and he had no clue where. Soon they arrived at the dark corridor, where they normally go to just calm ourselves. It was rarely in use, so he was confused, "What are we doing here?"

Rumi simply giggled and placed a finger on his lips, "Not so loud, Walker!"

Jay rolled his eyes; what was it with people giving him weird af nicknames?

Sighing, Jay lowers his voice to a husky whisper, "Better?"

She smirked, "Much better,"

The next thing she did took Jay completely by surprise...

She leaned on her tip-toes...

...And placed a gentle kiss on the corner of his mouth.

Jay felt his insides churning, butterflies in his stomach. Grabbing her waist, Jay pressed his lips on hers and pinned her to the wall.

Jay could feel her arms wrap around his neck, her hands messing through his hair.

Jay shouldn't be doing this...
...But it felt so right for him.

It was around 8:45, and it was just Kai, Lloyd, Cole, Zane, Morro, Nya, Skylor, Pixal and Seliel, joking about, tossing cushions at each other back and forth.

Wu had given them an off-day for the next day so they were making the most of it tonight. Kai was seated on one of the couches, with Skylor in his lap, their hands intertwined.

Nya was sat on the other couch, with Lloyd stretched out in front of her, on the floor. Cole and Seliel were curled up on the third couch, limbs tangled together, and Zane and Pixal were casually slumped on the other side of the third couch.

Morro was also on the floor, scrolling through his phone, occasionally laughing out at jokes.

A few minutes later, Harumi and Jay stumbled out of who-knows-where, looking kinda roughed up.

Pixal gave a fake cough, "And where have you two been?" she asks teasingly, "We've been waiting for you guys!"

"Places," Jay responded smoothly, crashing on the couch Nya was sat on. He patted the spot next to him, "Rumi? You coming?"

The girl shook her head, "I think I'm gonna skip this one, guys. I'll be at the next one, I promise! Watch over my phone, will ya!"

Everyone shrugged and let her go.

"Anyways," Morro said, "Who's ready to let loose!"

Everyone cheered as he leaned forward and flipped the lid, revealing the goodies.
