"Daddy!" Arielle screamed. Before I could say anything Keyanna dashed away. Sh*t
"Was that you're gurl?" La' Nisha asked as she was putting her clothes on. I ignored her question, because I ain't really know what to say.
She grabbed her shoes and walked out "oh well if that is yo gurl you loosen' a special one... August right." I nodded, and she soon left probably calling a cab.
What the f*ck am I gonna do. Should I talk to her? Talk to Ari? What?!? Maybe I should sleep it off first. Yea thats better. Figure out how to fix this shit later

I sat in my bed and thought... Why the hell should I be mad at him I mean ain't we just friends? Nothin more. At least I hope his pathetic ass didn't think we any thing else.

Ring ring ring
I turned the light on and checked the time 5 am who the hell tryna call me. As I looked at my phone it was an unfamiliar number, but it began with 504. So I onviously knew it was NOLA.
"Hello?" I answered with a raspy voice
"Keyanna?"
"Mama?"
"Keyanna I needah tell you something, but you just gotta relax, and take a deep breath"
"Okay Ma, but what's goin on ya got me scared" I felt my heart rate increase. I sat up on the bed.
"Ya know ya grandfather has liva canca right? Well he bacame real sick and the doctor told me he ain't got much time left" I clutched the phone praying its not what i think it is
"Can i come see him?"
"Im so sorry he passed away in the morning, but him and grandma were in Haiti. My sister Layene, and mom was bathing him since his whole body was swelling. And he said that he couldn't speak, so Layene told he didn't have to speak. His eyes rolled back and grandma saw it was time so she quickly put his clothes on... And now he in heaven with his cousin Keke."
My eyes started watering
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!" I screamed
"I didn't know you're number ever since that fight we had. Stacy gave it to me"
"Mama" tears filled my eyes making everything blurry
"I know behbeh It's hard, but look at peacefully he went away" I could hear my ma's voice crack letting me know she was crying
"Does Ranae, and DK know?"
"Yeah. I just told them"
"Okay well i gotta go ma" i said between sniffles
"Want me to come visit you?"
"No ma I'm not in town" her tone changed
"Where are you, and my grandchild?!"
"Mom please you didn't even want no business with her or me, and now that I'm gone that's when you worry"
"Girl Don't raise you're t-" click I hung up on her.
I didn't know what to feel I felt empty and alone. I began crying loudly.

I woke up from my sleep, and heard someone crying it sounded like mummi, but I was not sure. As I stepped out of the bed I tiptoed to the room mama was staying in when I took a quick peek I saw her sitting on the floor crying. Let me go get Daddy. Once I made my was up to the top of the stairs I walked into Daddy's room. He was snoring like a walrus oh boy!
