"Ari what'chu wanna do take the elevator or walk up?"I asked her as we made our way inside.
"Well since grandmama told me you're afraid of elevators imma go with walk up, BUT you have to carry me" I smiled
"Ight. But Arielle remember were not suppose to mention ANYTHING about seeing grandmama" she nodded
"It's are lil secret" She smiled wide giving me a wink. I knew this girl gon' tell her mama, but I just pray she tells her when I'm gone. I picked her up, and held her bag. After we walked up the two flights of stairs I started walking down the hall.
"Hey Uncle Deek" she asked
"Yeah"
"Can you do the Lil Einstein dance" She said
"Can I do... Fshh I'm the best at my whip & nae nae" She looked at me as if she didn't believe me. I put her down, and told her to sing as I did it. And she just laughed at me.
"Uncle Trav is way better" She said as I lifted her up again. "Sure he is" I exaggerated. We were about to go into a lil argument when Ari stopped me.
"Daddy?" She said questionably. I turned back to see what she was talkin about, and then seen August comin' out a room. I put Ari on my side as he quickly turned around when he heard his name
"Hey Guys!" He replied in a high voice. I said Hey back, but I was a little confused to why he was coming out another apt. room. I could sense something wasn't right but I kept my silence.
"Daddy what are you doin' over here?"Arielle frowned
" I have to go to the... bathroom" He responded
"But we have a bathroom in our apt. room"
"Yeah, but... Yo mama was usin' it so I have to go to the one down the hall" Arielle nodded "well it's to the right not the left" Arielle smiled correcting him
"Alright thanks Arielle. Nice seein' you guys" I nodded and he started walkin' away making us walk the opposite direction.
"You don't think he was actually going to the bathroom do you?" she asked me as she held my hand, and walked. I shook my head "nope"
"Think we should tell mama" I shook my head "nope"
As we walked near her apt. door some nigga was walking out. Me and Arielle looked at him oddly. He gave us a quick smile and opened the door to the apt. room across from her. Arielle and I both looked at each other, and shook our heads.
"We ain't tellin' no one" she said. I nodded, and opened the door to the apt. room. There was no one in sight. I looked around seeing some blankets on the couch. Connecting the dots to everything.
To save my sister's ass I took the blankets shoving them in the closet. She soon came out the bathroom brushing her teeth. When Arielle seen her she jumped on her giving her a huge hug.
"Hey mama" she said excitedly. Keyanna walked into the bathroom. With Arielle still on her side. She washed her face off then responded
"Hey behbeh. Did you have fun with Uncle Deek?" She nodded. Keyanna gave me a hug. With a nervous smile on her face.
"You alright you seem a lil weird" I said lookin at her."
"I'm fine" I nodded
"You and August must've had a blast last night huh" I said pointing to the liquor bottle on the counter.
"Oh yea we had fun" she walked to the table in the living room cleaning everything up. Not to mention a condom wrapper. She looked back at me and I pretended I was looking at the window.
