"I finally made up with my mother and for her not to be able to show up to her grand daughter's birthday for the first time is sick."
"Maybe if she was there for the birth of her grand baby maybe we wouldn't have this problem."
"You weren't there either so shut the hell up, August!" Keyanna said in a whisper-scream "And what the hell did you spend making you think ya ain't got muney?"

"August she's turning 3 not 21, so chill, and return some stuff ight?"

The phone hung up.
"Daddy I wanted to talk to mommy!"
"Ya mama was busy." I said lifting her up
"She's coming right?"
She said with a wide smile. I smiled back at her thinking I'd joke with her.

"Yea but her flight got cancelled."

She sucked her teeth pushing down, and getting off my hold slamming the door shut to her room.
Next Day!!!!
"Happy Birthday to yoouu, happy Birthday to youu, happy birthday to Ariellee, Haaaappy Birthdayy to yoouu..."
I smiled at Arielle and she looked annoyed turning around and pulling the covers ova her head.
"What the birthday girl ain't finna get turnt on ha Grand Day?"
She didn't move what's so eva, so I grabbed her by the foot almost pulling her out the bed until she screamed.
"Daddy!!"
"Can I get a thank you?"

"Where's my sorry?"

She made her way outta bed, and into the bathroom. I laughed realizing she did not notice the breakfast she had prepared for her.
"Hey y'all come hea, she in the bathroom"
My mom, Travis, Tima, Callie, my Maw Maw, Amaiya, Kayden, Chayden, Chandra, Jamal, And Jamal jr. Were all there. Eventhough my maw maw had not yet met Arielle she was still willing to come all the way from NOLA to come meet her great grand daughter.
Everyone came back to their usual places. And Amaiya quickly ran towards us.

We all got into our places.

She shook a little making us all laugh.
