"It's almost here!!!!!!" I yelled jumping up and down on the bed with Arielle.
"We're going to Mexico!!!!" I exclaimed
"I know!!!" ARI exclaimed with a wide smile
"I can't wait to tell everyone when I come back!" She added.
I felt like a five year old jumping up and down. I settled down sitting on the bed.
"Arielle let's calm down and relax" she nodded
She sat down next to me and I smiled.
"Mommy can you do my nails?"
"Yeah but don't you wanna go to the salon?" She shook her head no
"No I like it when you do it, it's more fun"
I nodded, "okay what color?"
She shrugged "owe! Do black!"
"Put your foot on my lap"
Somebody by Rico Love played in the back ground.
"Arielle you here the song playing?" She nodded "Yeah I like it"
"Guess who wrote it?"
"Who?"
"Me"
"Really?" I nodded painting her toes first. I started putting the base coat and just spoke with her.
"I thought you were a singer? Why would you write a song for someone?"
"I don't know. I thought it would be cool. "
"You should've wrote it yourself"
"You're right, but I don't really think the song would sound write if a girl sang it."
"Oh so it's a song for boys"
"No a song a boy should sing."
"Ok I get it" she said
I put the last splash of polish on her small toe then I began putting the black.
"Arielle, how do you feel about Chris and I ?"
"Being a couple?"
I nodded "yea"
"You're happy. So I love it" I smiled along with her.
"You like him?"
"Yeah! He's so cool. Mama he did two flips before he jumped into his pool!"
"And then and then when he tried teaching me how to play basketball he went to the middle of his basketball court, closed his eyes and shot the basketball right into the hoop. Royalty laughed so hard, she began drooling all over her clothes!"
I laughed, "yea he did that when he was hanging with me. He's pretty talented."
"I know look what he drew me" she pulled away from me and went into her draw and pulled out a drawing of Mickey mouse.
"See he says he calls it new school mickey" she stated
"Why is his pants sagged?" I laughed
"I dunno but he looks mad cool"
She put her foot back on my lap so that I can continue.
"I wanna hang it up." I nodded
"OK I'll help you when I'm done."
I finished up her nails as we just continued talking.
"I actually like when its just me and you mama" I nodded, "me too. You're my best friend so nothing will ever ruin our bond."
