Keyanna.
I kept re-reading the text and I was so confused. I poked my head out the window a little bit and August and Arielle didn't look like they were coming in soon so I ran to DK's room with the phone in my hand.
"Keyanna G--"
"DK I really need your help. I know you don't wanna speak to me but please just help me."
By the look he seen on his face he knew something was wrong.
"Keyanna what happened?" He questioned me sitting up on the bed.
I hesitated at first, but then I handed him August's phone. Since it was already open to the message he quickly looked through it then frowned.
"Dis' August's phone?"
"Yeah it's August's phone." I tried getting it back but he held it away from me.
"DK can you please give it to me" I ordered while still trying to take it.
"He outside?" I didn't respond, so he got up and slipped on his Nike slides.
"DK, no no no don't do anything please imma talk with him"
"Talk my ass" He spat
He went out with the phone in his hand and Cha cha was sitting on the couch until DK came walking fast.
"Hey DK"
DK stopped right next to the door and returned to Chandra.
"Happy Motha's Day ChaCha."
Chandra smiled and thanked him.
"Chandra has August been hanging out with anyone?" He questioned her
She frowned shaking her head.
"Nah ion think so" DK still went outside and Chandra followed.
I could see Arielle one place and I didn't see August near her.
"Arielle where's August?" DK questioned
She hid near the bushes trying not to be seen.
"You can't be hea' its dangerous!" She said holding her water gun
"Arielle I'm serious!" DK exclaimed
She pointed and DK walked away going towards that direction.
Chandra took Arielle so that she couldn't see whatever was happening, and I followed DK.
"Antiee Cha Cha what's wrong?"
Once August was seen in sight DK yanked him by his shirt and slammed him on one of the windows.
Chandra.
"You're too young to understand Arielle"
"But I just wanna know" She pouted
I have no clue what's going on in this house but it felt good to know that Ari and I were in the same page except I knew a luh bit more than her.
"Antiee Chandra have you ever had a bad dream before?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, why?"
"I had one, and it was so weird cuz it seemed so scary but then waking up and finding out it was just a dream is confusing."
"Well you know what you could do?" I asked her
"What?"
"Just count in ya head until you fall asleep, but since that don't usually work I take something important to me, and I sleep with it."
